So looking forward to the rest of books in this series Kindle Edition Review can be read at It s About The Book This book was fantastic If you haven t read book one I d suggest you not read this review past the first paragraph I ll try not to spoil but there are major events I can t avoid mentioning and that might lessen the anticipation built up in book one I ve been looking forward to Sky Children s release from the minute I finished Lacuna Like Lacuna this one also ends on a cliffhanger that left my mind reeling with possibilities In this world they really are endless There s space travel so that opens up different worlds and cultures Different beings Social classes This is the journey of 3 young men and their search for a taste of freedom For a chance at a happiness and love A chance to live a life not under the thumb of tyrants The world building in this series is lush and abundant The characters are complex with traumatic pasts that are intertwined I m so glad I ve gotten the chance to read this series Anybody who likes sci fi or post apocalyptic worlds will probably enjoy this trilogy. Children of the sky book Sky Children picks up where we left of in Lacuna Caden.

Senka and Mikas barely escaped Earth with the passports Blue gifted them Caden and Senka realize they re feelings go much much deeper than friendship Senka has a way of quieting Caden s nightmares They don t totally go away but Caden is able to find some peace This allows some growth for his character in this book Somewhere jumbled in those nightmares may be an ability to see prophecies or past events he shouldn t be privy to He doesn t really know how to interpret all that All they know is that the Ezri originated on Lacuna and they need to find it That s their quest As Caden finds himself and embraces his relationship with Senka that leaves Mikas as a third string Mikas is on a strange new planet filled with possibilities but they re essentially fugitives with no valid identities Mikas still has the same protective streak when it comes to Caden so he hangs around Mikas doesn t trust or like Senka so there s a lot of tension there. Sky color children's book Blue is still my absolute favorite character I was a little worried he wouldn t play as large of a part in this book given he was back on Earth in book 1 but that wasn t the case Blue does hit rock bottom after the heartbreak he experienced His pain and anger guts me He s become hardened and bitter He manages to go on and build up Loki s empire for a while but it s obvious it won t last Earth is fading fast and the Terah are making life desperate by the day for the people under their control The power and money are not making Blue happy either He has to take a chance on the unknown For Blue this story had a lot of resolutions Again I won t spoil but I will say that things happen that I did not see coming I was shocked and thrilled Nothing in this world is easy or as it seems. Children of the sky book We re introduced to a new Ezri named Xiah unlike Caden or Senka Xiah builds ships Has a wild zest for life and is strangely powerful He also has zero regard for the history of the Ezri He s basically just out for himself Xiah s need for adventure gets him tangled up in Caden s trouble Despite a volatile start he eventually forms a close friendship with Mikas that hints at a possibility of Maybe. Children of the sky book It s so tricky to review a book with this many twists and turns without giving away too many details Again the pace of this book is slow but the way it s written every moment carries a feeling of anticipation It s all built up on layers of information Like a puzzle you need to figure out Each piece gets you closer to the final picture Whatever that is The characters and their journeys are compelling I need to know that they ll all be okay I want them to find happiness I want their questions answered I want to know so many things about what will happy next I thought the story arcs and world building from Lacuna were fantastic but the story lines introduced Sky Children exceeded it I can t recommend this series enough I LOVED this book Kindle Edition DNF after the first couple of chapters The trans rep didn t get better.

Sky children of light pc I was excited to learn after reading Lacuna that book two Sky Children was to be released in April At first I was a little bit wary about how Sky Children might stand up to the complicated richness of book one However Sky Children has not only stood up to Lacuna but I think in some ways it has also surpassed it. Sky children of the light Things I especially liked The vast universe Sky Children continues on where Lacuna left off We are given the continued experience of a dying Earth through Blue s chapters but we are also introduced to new planets and to space travel through the three characters who escaped Earth in book one Mikas Caden and Senka Although I greatly enjoyed the dystopian setting of book one the vast nature of Sky Children with all the possibilities implied by the type of space travel described in the book is a really refreshing and hopeful change from the claustrophobic environment in book one. Sky children of the light apk The bittersweet reality of relativistic space travel A running theme throughout the novel is the notion of time and space While Caden Mikas and Senka are jumping through space the way time travel works in this book seems to be that ships can travel at near light speed and can also jump to faster than light speed for only a few weeks at a time years are passing on the other sister planets including Earth. Sky children for pc Which makes the eventual reuniting with Blue something strange for both parties involved Blue has moved one as much as possible from his painful past but for Mikas the memories are still fresh and overwhelming. Sky children of light pc Caden our protagonist shows such growth and potential in this book and I was excited to see that Miss Daily has given him a chance to shine as an individual character freed from the fear that so incapacitated him in book one I think that his relationship with Senka plays an important role in his personal journey and growth Senka s patience and guidance help Caden to accept himself and to strive to learn about the history of his people I m excited to see how bother Caden and Senka will grow individually as well as together as a couple. Sky children of the light download pc Mikas is still struggling What happened with Blue on Earth haunts him and he still has trouble dealing with his problems and emotions We are able to see a little bit into his character as the story progresses and guess at some of the trauma which may have resulted in his inability to address his own issues having to deal with intimacy Blue is still my favorite character In Sky Children we watch as Blue who has taken over Loki s fortune and expanded it through illegal means spirals deeper into depression and alcoholism after the loss of both Mikas and Loki Blue like most of the people left on Earth realize that the Earth s expiration date is nearing But unlike most people on Earth Blue has a chance to escape the inevitable Through a series of events Blue eventually leaves Earth with Nero Loki s right hand woman and Mira yes the same Mira who slapped Blue in book one and they head to a knew life on the Mechi controlled sister planet Vesta The biggest surprise of the book was the reappearance of a new and improved Loki Finally the newest Ezri character Xiah is a great addition to story He is wild and has an air of danger around him and he is just what Mikas Caden and Senka need A ship engineer and mechanic Xiah is something of a free spirit unattached to the heavy burden of his peoples history He has a complicated history all his own and we re able to see in snippets some evidence of why his personality is so brazen He has a unique connection with Mikas at first a very tumultuous relationship it seems like book three might bring something for these two. Sky children apk The sister planets We are able to visit two new planets in Sky Children Aurora a beautiful earth like ringed exo planet And Vesta an eerie exo planet circling a red dwarf Vesta is also home to Mechi who seem to have taken over after early human colonists and to the native Vestian people. Sky children of the light download pc Overall Sky Children is full of puzzle pieces slowly falling into place It is a beautifully crafted queer sci fi with slightly emphasis on romance than book one Lacuna I loved it and I can t wait for the final book in the series although no date of release yet Kindle Edition I m yours to do with as you want When I finished reading the first book I had the feeling that Sky Children would be even better and I am glad that I was proven right The beautiful world building that the author did in Lacuna continues in the second book we might have explored earth under the government of the Terah but that s nothing compared to the places we see as the characters travel from planet to planet learning about the different cultures and people that live in them The feelings we get in each book are also very different the main character s quest for Lacuna has a sense of wonder and adventure compared to their lives back in the dark world of the Terah where their daily struggle for survival was full of desperation and hopelessness The screaming was a piercing echo A terror filled sound that resonated through the burnt and dying city through his very bones I loved reading about all the characters old and new I liked the way Blue has grown as a character there were a few lovely traits of his personality that were lost during the time that has past but he transformed into a much stronger person I was also very excited about the introduction of a new character name Xiah I was not fun of Mikas because of his actions in the last book so I was so glad that he finally met someone who can rein him in But the thing I loved the most was Caden s and Senka s relationship from the moment i saw their unique way of communicating in the previous book i was so excited to experience their romance and it definitely did not disappoint I loved the way they saw each other in their dreams and their strong devotion that has led them to search for each other for many lifetimes until they managed to reunite They had been created together but separated for centuries searching desolate and now that they had met again an unstoppable storm had been unleashed One thing I am certain about is that the Lacuna Chronicles have great character development each character has a unique personality and constant growth the reader can obviously see the reason each character has formed a relationship with someone else and conflict doesn t get introduced just to fill pages and then to be easily forgotten Every conflict has a reason and it either gets resolved or it has consequences. Sky children days of music It starts where the first book in the series Lacuna took off and takes the reader through the continuation of a thrilling plot amazing character development and gorgeous descriptions of other worlds or rather sister planets of a decaying Earth I d like to start saying that if you haven t read Lacuna you should grab a copy right now I m going to try to avoid spoilers though. Sky children art The three main characters of the previous book Blue Mikas and Caden are still at the core of the story and we get their points of view so that their experience of reality really comes through Other characters either introduced in the first book or completely new further enrich the tapestry of relationships with their loyalties alliances and rivalries All of these characters are completely three dimensional vibrant flawed in their humanity showing varying degrees of strength in the face of adversity Each of them inspires me as a reader in a different way And what gets me the most is the emotions Ms Daily has a rare talent for writing emotion and opening windows into characters feelings musings and psychological reactions I always end up so attuned to her characters that I m shaken amazed and distressed and reading is almost a cathartic experience that brings tears to my eyes And I love this. Children of the sky book But do not think this is a space opera with characters being in and out of love for the sake of it and without a plot because excuse me but I ll write this in capital letters THE PLOT IS FANTASTIC It is the combination of larger than life constantly evolving characters and an intriguing twisting carefully developed plot that makes this novel just as the previous one shine I don t want to give too much away but most of the action takes place out of Earth in spaceships space ports and various locations in the sister planets One of the keys to the story is as was hinted at in the first book the quest for the planet where according to some written records the Ezri an alien race came from Some of the characters have a very personal reason for this quest whereas others end up tagging along This novel covers the events that take place in preparation for that And there is always the Terah the cruel organization controlling Earth as a background menace its shadow looming even in outer space As the action moves to new exciting places description plays a fundamental role and the author does a wonderful job of conveying the unique atmosphere and landscapes of each planet as well as the differences and similarities between natives humans Ezri and the Mechi ranging from how they see one another to how they like their drinks On top of all this is a well written book I mean it I ve been a fan of the author s style for a very very long time and she just keeps growing as a writer She has a knack for using the right word and clearly conveying precise images even of things that do not exist in our world this is science fiction after all Her prose flows and nothing feels redundant These books may be catalogued under sci fi m m romance or any other combination of tags but I don t think tags or categories can truly convey how complex rich well written they are So I d recommend them to anyone who has an open mind and is ready to go on an emotional rollercoaster and a thrilling cosmic journey with these characters I m so and I was disappointed at the outcome of the character I d assumed was asexual I m not going to bother with the rest Kindle Edition

A sweeping space opera that continues where Lacuna left off This book successfully walks the delicate balance between sci fi world building and substantial character development and growth I think the author s greatest accomplishment is in the creation of a rich universe that leaves some central questions deliberately unanswered so that readers are forced to make their own assumptions When the truth about certain aspects of the story are revealed it makes for a much greater impact to the reader Kindle Edition Review written for Love Bytes Reviews. Sky children guide After reading the first book in this series I was bursting with anticipation for the sequel and I have to say that it did NOT disappoint Continuing from where Lacuna left off I continued on Caden s journey of self discovery as he went off into the unknown in search of answers about himself and where his people came from all while looking for a way to go home Much like the previous book this one is told from multiple points of view as each chapters features one of the main characters This made for an intriguing read and I was never bored as I wasn t sure exactly what was going to happen next I also honestly hadn t expected to see certain characters again namely Blue so I was pleasantly surprised when I found he would still play a pivotal role in the book. Sky children of light book There was in the way of personal growth for the characters here as well as the author continued to build on the foundation laid down previously Caden came out of his shell in a tremendous way over the course of the book which was a fantastic change from the shy reclusive boy he was before Mikas is still coming along slowly but I m hoping that he ll continue to open up as the series proceeds he just led such a rough life that the inevitable breaking down of his personal walls is going to be massively satisfying I was most surprised by Blue however as he made the decision not to be anyone s doormat any and there was one part of the book around 44% in that had me re reading it a couple of times because I was so caught off guard It was great Each chapter and each character part was just so intricately put together that I was just enthralled with the story as it unfolded And the ending groans I was left shocked and desperately wishing I had the third book in my hands so that I could find out what happens next This series is just surpassing all of my expectations and I HIGHLY recommend it especially if you like science fiction I m officially in love with the Lacuna Chronicles and will be impatiently waiting for Kindle Edition., Sky children of light codes I can t really write about the characters without giving away most of the plot so proceed with caution, Children of the sky book I voluntarily reviewed the free copy that I received Kindle Edition First of all this book gets five stars A big bold underlined Arial 16 sized five
