I felt that the book suffered in the romance scenes They felt awkward and out of place and they bordered on erotica I feel that those scenes could have been left out of the book and it would have been better for me personally I also felt that the book was slow at times. Dare to love me dramacool Verdict Skip the romance in my opinion but the rest is fun 308 I really enjoyed this book It had enough suspense to keep me intrigued right from the beginning to the very last word The characters were well written and the plotline worked so well This may be the first I have read by this author but it won t be the last 308 SPOILERS SPOILERS I received this book from the author in exchange for my review of it This has the potential to be a great read If you are looking for romance.

I m not innocent But not quite guilty I confess to being distracted Not by one man but two Can you blame me Working in close proximity to that sexy Australian accent and don t get me started on the other one s dimples It s hard to focus on the case with a breath of whispers at my ear Fingers tangled in my hair curling around the nape of my neck If the string of dead bodies didn t show up just to get abducted which turns out to be fake to see if she knows how to keep her mouth shut photography job turns out to be an investigation into a bank her fake boyfriend works at 3 guys are basically fighting for her she learns to fight shoot guns pretends to be a hooker stripper fakes her death and I still have no idea what s happening All of the above is something I would normally like but unfortunately the writing style just wasn t working for me I can forget all semblance of realism and enjoy a story but having a car fall into a body of water where a person is creating a wave high enough to launch that person in the air just goes a little far for me. If you dare to love me avril lavigne My absolute favorite scene though is Brooke being drunk at a party I absolutely laughed out loud during that entire scene Sometimes book and reader just are a mismatch and I think that was the case here 308 I really enjoyed reading this book It kind of surprised me how much I ended up liking it The story contains a lot of elements that I love a character I can relate to romance action the really cool friend a guy with an Australian accent and When I started reading this book I didn t have much time to actually read it which means that it took me a while to actually finish it Then after reading the first four chapters I had time or I made time to read the rest of the story and that s when I went through a rough time I could not put the book down I stayed up at night I could feel my eyes starting to burn to keep on reading because my curiosity was killing me That being said I m really glad I read this There s one problem though what am I going to do now I m already experiencing that feeling again that I usually get after an amazing read I m talking about that empty feeling in between books when you don t know what to do with your life Maybe I should look into other books from this author 308 A must read I enjoyed this book so much turning page after page I was on the edge of my seat if it wasnt for mommy duties I would of finished it the same day I started on it The characters are amazing Brooke has spunk and she s a very likeable character Chip is my favorite one his sense of humor and personality instantly made me love him Grayson and Alice are also very important and I would be happy to call them my friends A mystery thriller with humor a story following Brooke a college student that gets involved with a team of investigators trying to bring down a crooked CEO And for Brooke at every turn it seems like someone is trying to kill her Romance comedy mystery and suspense all in one book I can t wait to read and find out what else is in store for Brooke Pumped for book 2 308 I receive this novel from the author for honest review Great Mystery Thriller What can I say about this book Well Omg a great mystery thriller and suspense This is my type of reading The characters in the story are different parts but it was all put together just perfect The theme and setting was well put together This had me hooked from the very beginning This novel will keep you thinking and guessing Your heart will beat twice and three times threw the hole book What a great Rollercoaster Every page Every chapter was a thrill page turner My goosebumps had goosebumps I highly recommend everybody get this awesome book it will jump you out your seat. Dare to love booknode I hope to see books from her Can t wait for her next Mastery Thrill Suspense 308 I was approached by the author herself to read and review her books So of course i was excited and accepted her generous offer immediately Again thank you so much Kendra Now off to our review Dead Man s Hand is a bit all over the place i couldn t clearly categorise it in a genre like romace or crime The plot is a bit blurry as well however that doesn t make it a bad or uninteresting read Our main protagonist Brooke is relatable and funny hilarious dare i say because honestly i found myself laughing all the time while reading it in a good way she is a realistic character not the boring oh yeah that s totally normal even though it is clearly not if something is weird she says so that was something i did like quite a lot Basically all characters were interesting and i liked the squad they seemed interesting and fun to be around Adventure wasn t really there for me there were some scenes that had you expecting something big to happen but for me they didn t deliver that action feeling they were like events that just took place to help with the whole bonding thing between them Also love triangle was a bit forced and unrealistic If i was her i d have chosen Chip hands down he is my favourite character classic bad boy with a touch of sentimental year count me in However it wasn t clear who she chose in the end which was a bummer cause i shipped only one pair Again though nothing bad about just a bit weird in some situations like girl you can t play with everyone So if i had to describe the plot in a few words i d say it was a bit of everything had romance had funny part and a bit of action As for the writing it was fast paced with a lot of scenery changes and dialogues it didn t stay in the same place for than a couple of paragraphs but everything was equally described there was not let s say one event that was rushed It was like reading a movie script and it would definitely make a great film That didn t bother me however they were a lot of editing mistakes like a few words left here and there and some grammar errors as well Now hold up i am not a native speaker so i suppose i shouldn t be bothered with it but it did make me think twice sometimes so i felt like it was fair to mention it Overal i did enjoy it It s a fun quick read for everyone out there who is looking for a small adventure to dive into plus the low price of the book is definitely something worth considering For what it offers it s a great deal Justifying my 4 stars i d say i took one out because of all the little things that i didn t like might be only me After all Library Thing and my blog at 308 Received a copy of this book if willing to give my review of it and I agreed since I adore mysteries. Dare to love me youngjae Grayson an old boyfriend and his cohorts Chip and Alice add to the tension Not only is Brooke dealing with what she wants out of life she is now trying to cope with the crazy situations that this trio draw her into The romantic draw that Brooke feels for both Grayson and Chip is realistic and that part of the story seemed to grow than the mystery elements did Again I was reminded of a movie that might play on Lifetime or Hallmark That isn t a negative thing but of a statement about the style of writing that has such fast action and myriad elements sprinkled throughout the story I would say this is a cross genre story perhaps a romantic action category. Dare to kiss you epub However action local author book then this is your book There is room for improvement Brooke is a girl from Houston who goes to U of H and is an art student She joins this club of crime fighters and bam she graduates from college which she cheated the last semester It is kind of a too good to be true moment in the story She is the main character of the story and the world tends to revolve around her She is an art student who is self confident and lives with her parents She has a best friend named Tom who makes appearances in the story In the beginning she senses she is being followed and guess what she is Her ex boyfriend and a girl who knows her ex boyfriend followed her She joins a crime fighting club because she has a camera is an art student knows Tom who works for a bank in the area and is supposedly fearless She has to go through this test which they kidnap her for the test Why would you kidnap her as a part of the test This part was extreme for the story The story continues with random placements of action Brooke gets hurt Brooke gets a job at the said bank that Tom works Brooke has to get close to the banks CEO to figure out where the lost snitch from the company went and there is a love triangle Brooke is a bit of a vixen who cannot seem to pick a beau The club has a member named Chip who shows interest in Brooke Brooke s ex boyfriend wants her back Brooke plays the fields with both leading both men along This part was not my favorite It seemed like it is forced and it was of a popularity thing The jock falls for the girl and so does the other jock The club works together to solve the case of extortion and figure out what happened to the company s snitch who knew all the secrets of their illegal activity Brooke while working for the bank is playing as if she s Tom s girlfriend because the boss s daughter is interested in Tom but Tom is gay The club does digging undercover work Brooke almost gets killed Brooke ends up in the hospital the bank CEO s daughter is the mastermind the daughter frames the dad and the media is all over Brooke You will have to read the book for details There are still some things missing from this posting that is in the book. Kindle dare to love me kiss My notes I wish there were a little description of the leading characters I wanted to be able to paint a picture in my mind It was a bit clich at some points and the action scenes kind of came out of nowhere Overall this is a great read and would recommend this book to others who are interested in action romance 308.
