When things go bump in the night they bump back My name is Blair Robertson After years of ghost hunting I m finally ready to hang up my hat and try something new or at least that s what I keep reminding myself every night before I go to bed I mean I still haven t told Jake or Ian YET and well Shane is trying to figure out how to get me to stay It s the main reason I m doing one last show To prove him wrong And I mean nothing can go wrong with that right Night Terrors Night Terrors 1 Night Terrors is an interesting story in how it s executed It s about a group of paranormal investigators who have their own television show Blair the story s MC has somewhat fallen out of love with paranormal investigations or at least that s what she initially thinks until the group get to check out a popularly known haunted asylum Some of this might be spoiler y so please read with caution. EBook Night terrors What I found interesting about the story was its focus on Blair and her relationships with the others Jake Shane and Ian I will admit to getting whiplash at times trying to keep track of who had what personality but after a time it became easier to figure out The thing I liked best was that despite being a story about paranormal investigation it focused greatly on Blair s personal development from getting back into a relationship with her ex Jake to the subtle and then not so subtle hinting at his controlling nature and the violent tendencies that came with it to her dynamic with Shane and Ian both prior to the story s events and during particularly in how things changed between them how complicated it was but also how supportive and loving they could be toward her. Night Terrors booking The story did have some technical issues primarily in the form of tense confusion repetition typos and at one point a continuity error though I m given to wonder if it wasn t an error due to a possession Blair suffers which when she saw the memories of the spirit possessing her were remarkably similar to her situation with Jake Either way there were issues but I also felt the story was fairly good despite them. Night terrors ocd Suffice it to say I will be reading the second book in the series Night Terrors Night Terrors 1 I was under the impression this was about a ghost hunting group it kind of is but its mostly about which of the ghost hunters Blair wants to date Blair is also very whiny I will check out the next book in this series as when she wasn t busy whining and kissing everyone it was pretty good.
