This book wrecked me It s a MUST READ 342 I was totally blown away by this book and i don t say that often If I could give this than 5 stars I would and I never say that Beautiful tragic sad but you will be grateful you read this This is a must read top read of the year for me one of the best books I have ever read 342 I truly have no idea where to begin this review I m a little all over the place because of this book I don t know where to begin Gillian Jones is an author who s books push the boundaries and tackles subjects that we don t usually see In Tainted by Love Gillian gives us a story pushes the boundaries to the max First and foremost I have to state that this book doesn t end traditionally Gillian tells us this herself. Tainted by loveology I m sure that because of this people might not want to read this book BUT And here s the kicker This book is so powerful So emotional So beautiful That you simply MUST READ it The journey the development the connection and the message underneath are all done impeccably I won t go deep into the storyline in my review I won t go into the characters in too much depth I won t ruin it I just won t What I will do is explain MY emotion My feeling in the hope that despite the warning you will give this book a chance. Tainted love by ej lace pdf Hendrix has also been burned in the past and now is a f uck em and chuck em type of guy Very cooth at first if you ask me although he does finally redeem himself Hanging out with his best pal Cannon and scoring chicks is the life for him now While the setup seems typical it s anything but These two find themselves kinda sorta thrown into a situation and the love games begin It was a treat how many times Trinity shoots Hendrix down and for him to get right back up on that horse Extenuating circumstances be damned I wanted them to get together Round and round we go with Trinity and Hendrix as well as thier closest friends and family Everybody is involved in this storyline and it really made the difference It showed the support this couple had at all times The road gets rocky of course it wouldn t be interesting if it didn t and it gets harder and harder to tell which way the whole thing is going to turn out The book is well written from dual points of view and it s a make you stop and think type of book I liked that it was different and maybe even uncomfortable at times however also quite the learning experience Reviewed for Renee Entress s Blog 342 I don t typically write long reviews because I m afraid that I ll give away something that will ruin the book for the reader so I ll continue on after I say MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS Tainted by Love is one of the best books I ve read in a long time I couldn t wait to get my hands on it There s so much emotion and the storyline was extremely realistic This book isn t about possible triggers and cautioning the reader It s along the lines of telling the reader that this subject matter is real What Trinity goes through is what many people have gone through and are going through today It may be the work of fiction but everything that Hendrix and Trin experience in the story is totally plausible That fact alone is one of the reasons why I loved it so much Hendrix is your typical sex without strings male He enjoys the beauty of a woman He likes to get busy He likes the act of sex The pleasure sex gives him but what he doesn t like is being attached So he makes it clear that he s only looking for fun and nothing Until he meets Trinity. Tainted by lovev verse 27 year old Trinity Adam s received crushing news that would forever change her life In every sense of the word It would only be through the understanding and love from Hendrix Hills that her life would take on some semblance of balance and true happiness however they would forever live with a dark cloud hanging over them and so we read this book with a mixture of determination and dread Hendrix sees me He sees all of me the person I am today the girl I ve always been and the woman I might become I just hope he also sees the Trinity that is looking right back at him the one who already loves him so much When reading a story we always put ourselves in the heroines shoes however in Tainted by Love we found ourselves in both Trinity and Hendrix s shoes asking ourselves what would we do how would we react if we were in both their situations Would fear and ignorance rule our hearts or would we open pummel through the boundaries and open our hearts to the possibility of love and happiness We found Gillian Jones schooled us in so many ways as she made us confront our feelings question our reasoning s and ensured we talked into the wee hours about this book. Tainted love by gloria jones 5 STARS This is an extremely solid read that is equally as hard of a story to review without spoiling the story Therefore I will say that the author warns about the hea status in her synopsis so if you are interested take heed This is my first book read by this author and she completely succeeds in writing a relatable heroine and an accepting hero s fall It was all very believable from beginning to end The heroine s condition HIV and AIDS is her secret and thus she has lost her parents and potential relationships from its reveal She s terrified that she will lose the friendship and attraction she shares with Hendrix Hill the new owner of her uncle s garage I m sorry Hendrix I can t I like the way you see me too much to taint it Hendrix hurt once years ago has become a love them and leave them type falls very hard for his fruitloop The love and understanding and trust that he has in what they could have and do have is beautiful I fucking adore you Trinity Adams and I want nothing than for you to give us a chance Trinity Adams is a strong yet vulnerable heroine and the type of love that these two shared is indeed inspiring This story was well researched and definitely tugged at my heartstrings Hopefully this book will raise a define awareness for the condition and compassion It s a powerful story and I for one won t forget it anytime soon 342
