A few shining moments A Beauty Dark and Deadly Dark u0026 Deadly 1 I just This was bad Bad writing and bad plot full of holes I read 50% and then skimmed the rest and nothing made sense Emmy takes this job being a maid of a potential killer but he was released aquitted and somehow the entire town knows about it in 1 day Their utter disgust of him makes no sense to me She s supposed to cook and clean and take care of his house but he is always cooking for her and taking care of the garden Emmy constantly reminds herself she s under threat but he s only ever nice and gentle and kind and sweet Also.

When it could ve been a fun tension point Jason s relationship with his ex wife makes zero sense Emmy and Jason justsuddenly hook up out of what feels like nowhere Who the heck is Cody and how did he know where to find Emmy Jason The sex scenes were distant and awkward phrases used several times in a single page Jason has scars on his back but we never find out what they are from Just plot hole after plot hole and weird writing where the viewpoint would shift from Jason to Emmy to outside observer within paragraphs And the ending was justugh runs palm down face really She s gonna murder Cody with a baseball bat and then they re gonna hide the body together because he s done this before Wtf Well I guess he did kill them but what the heck was the technicality he got off on And he hid their bodies What The cover and description make it seem like it would be tense and edgy but it s quite a plain romance and low stake A Beauty Dark and Deadly Dark u0026 Deadly 1 It was fine Acceptable Slow.
