Good bookGood book but needs pictures to keep a 5 year old interested Also not fully formatted for kindle fire 28 That book was AMAZING Can t wait for another one like thisAmazing book can t believe that it was so good can t wait for another book to come out because there amazing 28 Mermaid Celia and her friend dolphin Billy were racing chasing each other laughing and finding secret tunnels through the big rocks. Friends were swimming all the way to Lilysong Island together Then suddenly they saw something Not just something Someone It was a white shark with big black eyes and rows of sharp teeth that was swimming around a much smaller fish Thankfully friends came up with the perfect plan to help this poor fish Is this the best adventure book ever written Here s what readers are saying about the 1 Bestseller Mermaid Tale It s a great children s story though with a lot of important lessons covered in a very easy to understand way I enjoyed reading it Rachel Very cute bedtime story Reading while learning My kids loved the illustration Angela Rankin Mermaid Tale is pretty awesome Giving personalities to sea life is a great way to teach values Janis Exciting children s story that evokes imagination and adventure This story inspires children and focuses on teaching important life lessons It filled with sun sand beautiful ocean water and friendly characters Books for Kids The Little MermaidAgainst the Shark Children s Books Kids Books Mermaid Adventures Books Bedtime Stories For Kids This book was okay For me the biggest problem was the writing itself It was very simple often too simple The sun was warm and the water was wet I realize this is meant for young readers but the descriptions were very vague I couldn t really picture the events happening based on the descriptions Also there were many awkward similes like comparing something to a tree or an ice cream cone These seemed like weird comparisons for creatures who live underwater. The story was cute although making the shark the bully was not very original Also I didn t like that the main character tricked the shark when she was being mean Two wrongs don t make a right and all that If you re teaching kids a lesson at least stick to that lesson Overall a cute book but not one that really interested me I did enjoy the pictures 28 Working together to save a fish Celia and her friends work together in friendship to save a fish from a shark True friendship shows that you can work together to help your friends 28 Making FriendsIn this story we find Cecilia having a fun day of dancing swimming and racing around with her friend Billy While playing around in the reef they come upon a case of bullying. A very well written book that needs to be shared with all youth in elementary school 28 Celia is a friendly mermaid who enjoys splashing in the water while she plays and sings with her friends She lives in the City of Pearl Celia has lots of ocean friends like Ophelia the Octopus and Billy the Fish While playing hide and seek with Billy they come across Squatina the Shark bullying a white clownfish Celia who wants to be friends with everyone devises a strategy to outsmart the shark and teach her a lesson Squatina learns the real reasons behind her bullying and finds ways to be a friend instead. This early chapter book contains approximately thirty six pages with a few color illustrations of the characters in action to move the plot along Early readers learn some valuable life lessons while reading Short enough to be a bedtime story I read the kindle version My rating would be higher if not for the numerous errors in formatting words run into each other with no spacing I did not read the paperback edition and cannot say whether the errors are present in that edition It is a bit difficult to read particularly for independent readers who have reading or learning disabilities 28 Good readI really liked the story and the characters in it You will learn how to conduct yourself in difficult situations 28
