Think Twilight Goes to Scotland with a twistFrom Dusk The Vampire Hunter Prophecy Think Twilight goes to Scotland This is a quick paced novella for all readers especially Young Adult and New Adults readers who devour Paranormal Fantasy series I enjoyed the character 18 year old Lexi and loved the description of her journey I traveled abroad during college and I m quite impressed at Lexi and her adventure It makes you want to go to Scotland better yet it makes you want to be part of a legacy and be eighteen again and meet Jack Great quick read I m looking forward to the second book Paperback I found this tale to be quite extraordinary Fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel would most definitely enjoy From Dusk The Vampire Hunter Prophecy as the story is mildly similar while also carrying some rather unique aspects making it so vastly different from the stereotypes Michelle Ryan s ability to describe symbols in a book or a country s landscape down to the smallest detail enabled me to easily visualize what I was reading Although the text could do with some polishing the adventures within the pages were absolutely engrossing making me want to read and without a single break Each of the characters has a detailed story and is easy to relate to I very much enjoyed Lexi s journey from innocent young girl to legend and warrior and I recommend this book to readers over the page of 12 years who enjoy suspense drama adventure romance and humor teamed together in this paranormal thriller Rosie Malezer for Readers Favorite Paperback In From Dusk The Vampire Hunter Prophecy MG Ryan weaves a gripping tale of a young girl on the verge of womanhood looking for her place in the world. This was a charming book I am a sucker for a sweet romance and I found the subtle romantic gestures intertwined with the Vampire Hunter script very captivating I also really enjoyed the making of the adopted family I felt the love and connection and warmth M. Book from dual swordsman G Ryan s descriptive passages are quite incredible and if she ever gave up writing fiction which I pray she doesn t she could make a fortune in writing reviews for travel brochures I ve been to the UK now in this book I also loved the fight scenes and the fact that the Hunter grew to like them I love the process Lexi went through while learning to embrace her fate Paperback Instantly I was drawn in and dragged along with the undemanding and effortless tone of the book and I found the conversations realistic and quite indicative of young adults finding their place in the world. Book from discovery From early on I felt enthralled by the pull of the prohecy as it seemed no matter what decisions Lex made she still moved down her destined path I also loved the sense of home she created with a stranger s cottage and the friends who quickly fell into the mantle of family It left me feeling warm and content. Paranormal From duskit The only reason I wouldn t give this easy read the final star is that I felt it could have used a little flesh in the romance and action scenes Though I did enjoy the subtlety of interaction between Lex and the love interest I did find the escalation staled Similarly I enjoyed M G Ryan s use of descriptors ensuring the first few fight scenes felt like a scramble and the last seemed dealt with a clinical disregard But finding the fights over in a matter of sentences left me unsated. From duskfang skyrim Lexi is the main protagonist her character was a great way of showing a strong female without trying to make her overly masculine Her femininity was I think one of Lexi s compelling points which caused me to become engaged with her story accepting her path with a measured approach I read one review that is was like Twilight as I have read that series I can tell you it is far from that type of story Some elements are similar wolves and vampires but it concentrates on a prophecy about a vampire hunter The Lore of the Vampires was like Anne Rice than Stephenie Meyer There are some issues of flow at the beginning of the book but once you move past that the story was difficult to put down. From Dusk paranormal cirque Jack is Lexi s main supporting character I do like him he feels like a real person like Lexi Something happened to him in his past and he needed to understand this The relationship between Lexi and Jack I found believable Being that close to an oblivious attraction with each other show how organic romance h in literary form My favourite character is Corey can t go into why as I think this would ruin the book for readers but when he came into the story the dynamic of Lexi Jack and Corey made me lose track of my reading and before I knew the book was over I want to read the next one now I would highly recommend From Dusk Aside from the pace at the start the book flowed and showed what knowing the path and walking it means Paperback
