A quick and sweet read that I enjoyed Hemingway s Hope Hope Series 1 So I have so many feelings about this book and review I read the prologue several months ago and was super excited Then I find out that she has finished this book and I got even excited So I told her I couldn t wait to read and she was so nice to give me a ARC of this book I m really having a hard time writing this review because of all the mix emotions I have I liked the book very much and I m super excited for this author and know that any other books she write will just get better and better With that being said I will say that this moved relatively fast It had so much potential to be a great book not just a good book I liked the characters and thought they had good chemistry I just wanted from them I wanted the in between and the ever afters I will say if you want a good quick read then this is your book Thank you again Ms Thompson for allowing me to read and I m excited for what you write in the future Hemingway s Hope Hope Series 1 Seriously hot guy shows up with your brotherscausing you to check if you are droolingIs this a dream Hemingway s life is complicated She lives with her mother not because she wants too She is surviving there Hemingway is a survivor She has spunk and fire and that drives Max nuts This beautiful woman makes him crazy He wants her and knows she wants him. Ernest hemingway hope quote C Thompson s easy writing style reeled me in from the beginning and I loved Hemingway and Max The well placed humor had me laughing and the sexy scene goodness is hot I really believe this story had the makings of 5 Stars except the length made it seem almost too rushed Overall an ex short fun read that really got to the point concerning characters and the mail plot of the novel A sweet read that includes main characters Hemingway and Maxton There were many supporting characters that really put the story into perspective from one person s point of view and added to the overall feel of the story line I am going to give this novel Four Bars About three quarters of the way through this novel it switched between two points of view and I wasn t a fan of that I like dual point of views but it seemed very choppy to have happened that late in the book Hemingway only wants her life to look up From the beginning of her life she has been nothing but an inconvenience to her mother When the final straw hits home for Hemingway she flees the scene and only ends up getting into worse trouble than she thought possible And not the jail type of trouble no emotional trouble than she had ever wanted Losing something that is a part of you will take a toll on a person no matter the circumstances Her brothers formed a band upon moving out of the old house that their drunk mother occupied Hemingway s Hope hoping that the band would be enough to help Hemingway reach her goals When the band goes through multiple drummers within a matter of a several years the band seems to have found their niche with super hunk Maxton Otherwise known as Max he is drawn to Hemingway like a magnet The problem is that Hemingway wants nothing to do with him no matter how strong the pull of their feelings are towards one another she doesn t want to get close to him doesn t want to end up losing him like she did As fate would have it Hemingway and Max hit it off right away and her life begins looking up for her A story of loss gain and having a second chance at love this was a great read to pick up and devour in one day Hemingway s Hope Hope Series 1 
Hemingway has spent her life trying to earn love she was never going to get Not capable of earning the love of her mom she found what she thought was a lifelong love until it wasn t When she meets Max the new drummer in her brothers band she just might find that love she has been searching her whole life for No stranger to pain and heartache Max has learned from his past that when you find someone worthy of your love you give it all Losing his mom at a young age showed him how fragile life is He lives life with as few regrets as possible and when he wants something he fights with all he has to get it Hemingway doesn t stand a chance against the force that is Max s love and devotion not that she would want to Will Hemingway be able to move on from her past and open her heart up to love Will Max be the one to show her the way Or will they give up and move on when Hemingway is forced to confront her past head on Hemingway s Hope Hope Series 1 Actual Rating 3. Hemingway's greatest work C Thompson to be a good read that had a lot of potential It had characters I liked a story that was definitely interesting and I was definitely hooked into what I was reading I thought J. EBook Hemingway's hopedale C Thompson s writing was easy to sink into and she definitely wrote a story that had a lot to it This story follows Hemingway a young girl who has lived through quite a bit of pain She had a childhood that scarred her and led her to a heartbreak no one should ever have to experience Her brothers were her saving grace and even named their band after her This book follows what happens when Hemingway meets the new drummer for their band and starts falling hard and fast for the spell that he casts over her Hemingway and Max have a lot of feelings for one another that they can t ignore and Hemingway s Hope follows the two of them as they try to see if they can make it all work in one way or another. Hemingway's hoper review Like I said I really enjoyed the characters and I think this story had a lot of potential I just wanted a bit from them to push it to that next level A little bit depth and time spent with them and their pasts and presents That being said I think this is a good debut from this author and I look forward to reading of her stories and getting to meet and love of her future characters I was definitely picking up clues to future stories in this series and I think JC Thompson did a good job of bringing in those hints in a way that makes you look forward to without overshadowing Max and Hemingway s story Hemingway s Hope is a story of survival love and most of all hope It s about what happens when you live and fight through things you never thought you could and how those things bring you to the exact place you want and need to be Hemingway s Hope is about finding that light in all the darkness and seeing the possibilities that love and life can give you if you only give them the chance This book its story and characters had some good aspects to it and it is definitely worth checking out if you re looking for a quick read that will make you feel a good bit Hemingway s Hope Hope Series 1 Hemingway s Hope by J. Hemingway's greatest work C Thompson is a hot quick read that is easy to love This standalone book tells the story of Hemingway and Max and how love can heal Hemingway Hem is the younger sister to two older brothers who raised their sister since Mom didn t care and Dad was just another one of Mom s boyfriends Hem is a bright sweet young lady who is forever hiding from a past that she can t ignore Hem lives her life determined not to let her past guide her future She meets Max and she knows there is something about this man that is different from the rest My favorite line is He has the bluest eyes not like a crystal blue but like the deep blue in the sky right before it goes dark at night Max is the new drummer in Hem s brother s band and his eyes give his feelings away instantly to Hem Their connection is instant Max seems to be one of those guys a girl trusts without knowing why The story starts with Hem getting kicked out of her Mom s house and going to her brother s to stay the night That s just when she meets Max new drummer and roommate Their relationship starts innocently enough as Hem knows getting mixed up with her brothers band mates is a bad idea but she can t resist Max The story is from Hem s point of view for the majority of the book and then switches between Hem and Max as things progress This confused me at first since I typically like consistency in this area but it doesn t detract from the book at all The undeniable connection between Hem and Max is what pulled me into this story Their relationship is sweet and helps them both deal with their lives in different ways I would recommend this book to any romance reader Only took me a few short reading session to devour this book which is always enjoyable Hemingway s Hope Hope Series 1 I am so happy I got a chance to read Hemingway s Hope This is a quick story focusing on Hemingway her life family and her brothers band I read this and saw how she was treated by her mother and it makes me sick that someone would treat their child like this The sad part is it happens in real life to some people Then they either continue the cycle stop it or go on with their lives and make it better Hemingway s brothers were there for her as a child and now they are all still close to each other as adults She was lucky to have them and close friends to help her see she is worth love She of course was dealt a bad hand with her mother and then her ex boyfriend is just as bad She just seems like she cannot catch a break This is why her brothers look out for her and do not want any of their band mates dating her That is until Max. Hemingway strategies I have to be honest here and point out that for me this wasn t a great read While I enjoyed the writing itself some of the different segments of the story seemed somewhat disjointed from each other like puzzle pieces that didn t quite fit That said taking the wider view those imperfections seem to diminish in that at no point was I even tempted to stop reading Very early on I found myself becoming invested particularly in the character of Hemingway herself and just had to keep going.
