Or fundraising she is now at a meeting with the hope of plans to build a building at the location of the shelter Jefferson Traynor is the son of the owner of the construction company and is also an executive He of course makes a fool of himself as he walks in seeing Marisol and making comments about her and then thinking that she will fall over him to go out with him When he finds out that she is the reason for the meeting it only gets worse from there When he gets to the shelter the next day he continues to make a fool of himself and does so for the 25% of the book He starts to come around and realizes what and why they are there He is still drawn to Marisol but also to the boy that she is working at adopting Together they both decide to go on a few dates and when you find out about her past you begin to see why she is doing what she is You also begin to see a change in Jefferson.

And you wonder if it will be enough or will he leave once the project is done A good story about women being abused and trying to get away with their children and also how they become stalked by their spouse and what the entire family goes through For that reason alone this is a great book but the story is good just as well I got this book from Netgalley. PDF Chasing marisol vista Jeff and Marisol are amazing It was nice to read a book where the Hero chases after the woman and actually has to work hard to get to date her I really liked how Jeff matured while getting to know Marisol I definitely recommend this book Chasing Marisol Blueprint to Love 3 I loved this book It made me laugh and cry There was a bit of suspense I learned quite a bit about domestic abuse that I didn t know First of all was how many people are impacted by one abusive relationship The helplessness that so many people feel both men and women who are affected by the abuse someone they know and love has been subjected too It was very hard for Jeff to know exactly how to react to the situation To want to go and find the person abusing his loved one and tear him apart but having to swallow that and try to figure how to offer the kind of support that Mari needed And for Mari s family wanting to protect their daughter Because no matter how old a son and or daughter get.

To a loving Mother and loving Father you are always their little one and the desire to protect is overwhelming Another thing that came out in the story is how long it can take for someone to get over the damaging impact of an abusive relationship after it has finally ended Also how overwhelming the impact is There is Annie and she is all but imprisoned in that facility because leaving would put herself and her children at risk She barely has a life she can t do anything except what she is allowed to do within the four walls of the facility She can t even pursue her profession as a nurse And it seems to go on forever Even after she has divorced the guy he doesn t give up I didn t realize the danger the caregivers are at these facilities are in as they strive to protect those in their care The things they learned to deal with when faced with violence Its a terrible thing. EBook Chasing marisol When I first received this book I wasn t aware that it was the third book in the Blueprint to Love series Although I hadn t read the first two books it didn t matter as they are standalone and can be read in any order That being said I loved this book and will definitely be reading Trusting Jake and Falling for Ken which are the first two books in this series I commend the author Lauren Giordano for writing about such important social issues as women s shelters homelessness and abuse with such emotion and artistry The characters she s created are realistic and heartwarming They will grab your attention immediately and make you wish for a happy ending I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romantic stories that have realistic storylines and characters who must overcome heartbreak and hard times to find love Chasing Marisol Blueprint to Love 3 Marisol on a mission to collect donations to build a new wing at her shelter New Beginning to make it safer for the abuse women that need a safe place to stay at in the process she meets Jefferson the man who is in charge of building the new area In this book we see a woman who gives her all inveigled Jeff into taking over the improvements to the women s shelter New Beginnings recognising that Marisol the single minded director of the project will challenge Jeff at every level Playboy Jeff quickly realises that he has bitten off than he can chew when he starts to prowl after Marisol but her resistance towards him only peaks his interest For the first time in his quest to win her over Jeff really begins to know and understand Marisol In doing so his eyes are opened regarding the work the staff are doing at the centre and the challenges they and the women they are protecting face on a daily basis The story escalates into a really scary situation and speeds up towards the end when life threatening situations crash down on Marisol and her staff and she comes to realise who her friends really are I found the story informative regarding the nature of of abuse towards women and children and the measures that can be taken to protect them The story also brings out that the legal system while put in place to protect innocent people sometimes fails those it is meant to keep safe The attraction between Jeff and Marisol was both tender and passionate and the transformation that took place in Jeff s life as the blinkers are removed from his eyes is heartwarming A thoroughly enjoyable read with lighthearted and very amusing interludes interspersed with all the pain and 4 Hector is Amazing Stars Chasing Marisol is the third book in the Blueprint to Love series by Ms Giordano and it reads as easily as the first two This one touches on the very serious subject matter of domestic abuse the victims and the people who dedicate their lives to helping them Reading this you get a glimpse into the lives of those who seek help in shelters There is also a simultaneous storyline that deals with the foster care system how slowly it moves and how impersonal it can be Even though the subjects are living in the middle of all of this they rarely lose their sense of humor or compassion You get to revisit the characters from the previous books and in usual Traynor fashion they all end up coming to the rescue in Chasing Marisol You also get to meet some interesting characters from the Ortega family and will smile if not laugh out loud at some of their antics to protect their own Chasing Marisol Blueprint to Love 3 Enjoyed this one while the fostering aspect was a bit extreme put foster care in somewhat negative light this is not always the case reunification is main goal and the system can be slow there was hard issues dealt with well abuse PTSD women s shelters the need for shelters for women with children etc Chasing Marisol Blueprint to Love 3 Marisol Ortega is working at building a women s shelter on a shoestring budget Always looking for donations family and loved ones can be for these people adults and children caught up in abuse.
