For me what makes it a great book is when all three members of the trio are all willing partners What I mean by that is there are some books I felt that one of the characters felt left out or wasn t 100% sure that they were ok with it But Polished is not like that at all and that is what I loved The connection between the characters is what made this story fantastic. Rory has to tell her parents the truth about who Jack really is He isn t just an experiment for her and Spencer He is a part of them And Jack has issues that he is facing with his business which causes him to loose focus when it comes to his relationship While spencer is trying to understand what is going on he is also trying to keep them together He feels like he is losing Jack which in turn also affects Rory and he will not let that happen Will they be able to work through their troubles As I mentioned earlier the connection between these three characters is the type of connection that you just feel so deeply about They just clicked There is really no other way to explain it honestly They were each others best friends.

Rory and Spencer who become a poly couple In Swept we find the triad navigating life Rory is stressed out worrying about what her parents are going to think of her taking the guys names while planning a wedding to Spencer Jack is having problems with his business a business that he forced is dad out of Jack has the Russian mob breathing down his neck and if he doesn t get in bed with them his company will go belly up and in the process he loses his Dom which has Spencer and Rory worried they are waiting for him to come to them and talk We also meet Oleg who is also a Dom and the nephew to the Russian mobster that s working with Jack he is also the Dom of Samantha the sister of Kyle from Make Me I liked how Rory was able to stand up to her parents about what she wants for her wedding and the people she loves The sex scenes in this book were hot and I loved it This book was really well written with no errors in grammar or spelling If you like reading M M F BDSM than I recommend that you read Polished and Swept I am hoping that Ms Turner write about Sam and Oleg and if she does I can t wait to read it Kindle Edition Rory Campbell.

Swept book Swept is the follow up to their love story Rory and Spencer are still planning on getting married but Jack will also be a part of them as well Jack is a Dom and is now Rory and Spencer s master While a part of Spencer felt the need to be with a man Rory realized that always being in control in her life she needed some sort of dominance in the bedroom And what she needs is not something that Spencer can give her But the three of them together are so connected so in tune with each other and just so amazing together Never once did I ever feel that anyone was left out or felt out of place They all loved each other equally and when they were together my god was it hot In Swept we see both Rory and Jack having issues that they have to deal with and Spencer trying to hold his family together With their upcoming nuptials lovers and their world Rory and Spencer were soul mates but together with Jack they feel complete and whole It is really a beautiful love story that I really enjoyed so much I had no idea that Ms Turner was writing a follow up to their story but I when I found out I could not have been excited Swept is the story of three people trying to hold onto their love It is not easy to live their life so differently from others especially without being judged And not just by people they don t know but by family as well There are struggles if not steamy What happens when your dominant looses his desire to dominate That is the position that Spencer and Rory find themselves in when Jack becomes distant and withdrawn They all love each other there is no doubting that but Jack seems to have pulled back from the dynamic of their relationship. I received this as an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest reviewIn the book Polished we met Jack Spencer Hartley and Jack Rothman are in a polyamorous relationship Their union is further distinguished as Jack is a Dominant and Rory and Spencer are his submissives This is a new discovery for Rory and Spencer while Jack has freely expressed and explored his sexuality for quite some time They ve now been together ten months and Rory is planning her wedding to Spencer and commitment to Jack by also taking his name Meanwhile Jack s new business is in trouble not because of his competency but due to some really dark elements This story is fascinating on so many levels First the Dom sub relationship is portrayed so authentically distinguishing the behaviors inside and outside of the bedroom Yes sexual norms are on full display erotic and sensual but what was enlightening were the everyday dynamics between the three Next the dark forces that descended on Jack s company triggered much than a typical reaction in him He s a Dominant and he has the added desperation of performing in that role as caretaker for his submissives It drives many of the decisions he makes to protect them within the context of that role And lastly their unusual relationship is always subject to judgment by family friends neighbors co workers and others The reactions were diverse ranging from being fully supportive to estrangement or outright rejection It was interesting to consider the many ways this type of relationship is impacted in everyday life This is a duet narration using four performers I ve come to love this format especially when all three characters are interacting with each other The performance was excellent and the narrators were excellent in distinguishing their characters too There was a lot of tension and suspense related to Jack s business issues quite scary in fact I was riveted by this part of the story I also enjoyed the family drama as it gave me lots of insight into how Rory Spencer and Jack were shaped by the people who raised them While the sexual scenes were highly erotic and sensual they didn t eclipse the heart of the story which was the strength and depth of the emotional bonds between the three There were so many layers and this is one of the best polyamorous stories I ve read in a long time I received an advance copy from the author in exchange for an unbiased review Kindle Edition 4 Stars 4 Flames I have to admit that I read this installment before I knew that this was a follow up to Polished As far as I m concerned this totally worked as a standalone The Author did a very good job of cluing me in on each character s past as well as who they were as individuals Now that I ve admitted to that lets get down to the review shall we This is the first MFM read that I ve read where there is one true Dom with two submissives one female one male Usually both males are the Dom over a female Sub What a breathe of fresh air It was so nice to read about a submissive male who is bisexual and becoming comfortable within his own skin Here s the twist that I loved most about this Both submissives started out with just each other read Polished bringing the Dom in to the relationship Although both submissives love each other beyond belief they were missing something in their relationship which the Dom has been able to provide Ok so all of the above you basically get from Polished and a recap within this read Here s where the story becomes even interesting Jack the Dom is the president of a successful engineering company his father founded but he hasn t been able to close a deal in months He s starting to consider bankruptcy along with other options when he s given an offer he can t refuse from the Russian mob Seriously he literally can t refuse the offer This causes a ridiculous amount of stress which trickles in to his relationship with Rory and Spencer his Subs While Rory and Spencer are planning their wedding it becomes apparent that there is something wrong with Jack He stopped being the Dom in the relationship and even when they try to get him to engage in scenes he just can t focus Bad timing to say the least considering Rory needs his Dom abilities to help keep her from losing her poo Can Spencer step in as the Dom she needs in order to keep her sane Will Jack pull himself together long enough to realize that all he needs is right in front of him Awesome story Awesome lessons to be learned all the way around I would absolutely continue this story if the author decides to write another installation maybe the next triad hint hint I received this book from the JeepDiva in exchange for my honest review Kindle Edition Arc. Swept co I like when things start to turn safe word nail polish and Jack begins to make amends and clean things up The heat levels also skyrocket with this change which I always love And then there is that HEA Oh my fanning self Some housekeeping items This is part of a duet but the author has a recommended reading order that has you reading this the second book after Polished Unmeasured and Make Me There are characters that crossover and become big parts of this book Although you can just read the duet if that s your preference. Swepti in The other thing is that I listened to the audio book I received from the author This is the first time I ve listened to one with five narrators It reminded me of a table read for a play with so many voices It took a little getting used to but Alyssa may have just spoiled me for other menage and RH audio books The narrators had different accents and were fun to listen to They were Erin Bateman Adam Riley J Hawkins Jack Walters and Vivianna Marlowe[1]
