Mystery Finally finished this book I have struggled with reading books this year got pregnant in March and mind has been elsewhere I won this book in the goodreads giveaway for an honest review I ve had this book sat at the side of my bed for so long and I ve picked it up here and there It wasn t a book that held my attention long enough for a long reading session I am getting better at short stories but I also find that because of that I can put a book down after each one and not return to it for long periods Also with that in mind I completely forgot about the stories in the first half of the book.

Imagine a mixture of Mark Twain s humor and insight with the darkness of Stephen King s characters entering the world of madness This book contains several stories all of them different and each having an ending that s completely unpredictable I m also reminded of Vonnegut and Douglas Adams styles of writing Not what I expected at first from the funny cover but a nice surprising read Science Fiction Fantasy Mystery This is a collection of some of the best Science fiction and Fantasy short stories I have ever read Fun and lively out of this world story lines and characters Well written fast paced great read I am looking forward to The Dinosaur Chronicles II This book I won from Goodreads and I gave it 5 stars Science Fiction Fantasy Mystery Don t let the title or the cover art fool you This is not a collection of stories about dinosaurs Apparently the author has published stories under the nom de plume T Rex but despite that there is nary a dinosaur tale to be found in these pages Despite this it is a very entertaining collection of bite sized and a few longer science fiction and fantasy stories One of the strangest stories is told from the point of view of a bowling ball it takes a special kind of skill to pull something like that off A dinosaur story or two would have been nice but even so this is a fun collection Science Fiction Fantasy I don t remember hating them so that s something right As for the second half the stories were alright not my usual reading material but still good I think I would have preferred something longer by this author I didn t like the Author comments after each story I started skipping those before I got half way through It detaches me from the stories book.
