Just when you think it should be ending the author throws a new twist that keeps you spellbound My husband who doesn t really care for audios sat and listened for a while then went on about his day coming in and out picking up a little here and there As he walked through listened for a little and say have they caught the killer yet I would answer he would leave come back a little later wanting an update We honestly both were hooked and truly enjoyed this read My hats off to the author and narrator for being able to pull my husband in and making him want to listen and learn about this story. Copper lakejob rentals Ms Grall kept me spellbound with her narration bring me to the edge and holding me there with her very talented emotional voice Her characters voices are outstanding her performance even better You have no trouble knowing who is talking or just what they are feeling throughout this listen Her female and male voices are wonderful with sexy.

Thrills and even a few chills that the narrator pulled off with no problem If any breaks were taken you cannot tell this was just one highly entertaining audio that I truly got lost in I haven t listened to anything by this narrator but I can t wait to listen to of her work She really pulls the listener in taking over as your mind feels every pain and sorrow that comes its way I Loved this audio from the characters voices to the emotion that comes through pulling you in taking you away for a very entertaining listen. Copper Lake fictionmanai last I don t think I would have guessed the killer if the author had not told me who it was early on She does a great job reliving the first kills that you don t get to see but in no way does it take away from the story but adds to it The place that holds the victim just blows my mind at how much thought the killer put into it Kendra has so much pain in her life from her job to her marriage Being put on leave going to a quite little down just to relax was her game plan until bones started showing up and then women came up missing leaving the town spinning Kendra finds the first set of bones.

The cover was great to look at the story itself was very well written I have not read a suspense novel for some time as change preference to genre but hey suspense thrillers I m coming back thanks to this book. And Swann doesn t throw a bunch of false leads out there So figuring out whodunnit was kind of easy The anticipation of waiting for our heroine to fall into the psycho s clutches is probably comparable to his anticipation of getting found out You know it s going to happen and you re excited scared. Suspense Copper lakers I like how Swann doesn t let the romance between Ken and her partner muddle everything There s nothing I can t stand than delving into sex when the story is getting good But there s enough tension there to explain how they could possibly have a strong enough connection to achieve some incredible breakthroughs in this case Intuition and mind reading sorta really win the day. Book Copper lakewood One nitpicky thing that got me The killer s wife never noticed his unusual scars not to mention tattoos of coordinates between his legs I m not a Fifty Shades of Grey kind of girl.

Copper Lake is the third book in the Stutter Creek series but can be read as a stand alone Suspended from duty and having been left by her husband of 20 or so years Detective Kendra Dean is spending some alone time at Copper Lake when she stumbles across human remains while hiking and then finds herself pursued by a serial killer who likes to carve map coordinates on his victims femurs The reader knows pretty much from the onset who the deranged killer is as the story is told from various points of view including the killer s The plot is still suspenseful though especially when Kendra and the killer end up in the snowy woods or less chasing each other while Kendra s detective partner who is in love with her is searching for her As in the first book I didn t really feel the romance in this one either The most interesting parts where the chapters written from the killer s point of view It was one of those books that you can read quickly but you ll also forget quickly Neither bad nor great it just didn t make any impact on me Hence 3 stars I think it would appeal to readers who like their romances and their language clean but enjoy a mild suspense or crime story I received a copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review Paperback This is one of the most exciting thrilling hold your breath setting on the edge of your seat audios I have listened to this year There are twists and turns than you can count loving sad fear excited tones that you really feel I had no trouble picturing the story in my mind and feeling the fear of the unknown as well as the excitement of the killer There were no background noises or any place where the volume was higher or lower than anywhere else in the audio Each chapter was clear clean and crisp full of danger not being too thrilled setting on the side lines she helps them try to find the killer only to become a victim herself in this highly suspenseful exciting listen. Copper Lake suspense This is one author that knows how to reach in and puts you through the ringer with her many different twists and turns She knows how to pull on your emotions keeping you hanging on waiting to see what she has in store for you There is danger heartache a little romance sorrow and pain as she spins a story that not only holds your attention but keeps you invested I knew what was coming a few times and I begged yelled no don t do that run don t go there but no matter what I said they didn t listen and went the other way When you start talking to the characters you know you have a winner on your hands The only thing keeping this from being one of my favorite picks for the year was the ending I thought it was a little rushed and would have like to have seen of the outcome of a budding romance Beside that this was a big win all the way around I loved the characters a few I just adored others I felt very sorry for and one I really didn t care for at all There were a few I wanted to pull right out of the story knowing what their ending would be A few I wish I had been there before evil came knocking at their door The summary does not do this book justice If you are looking for a new author with wonderful writing talent that knows how to deliver a highly entertaining clean read full of thrills excitement that will keep you invested than you really should listen to this audio Paperback A Great Set Of Love And Mysteries These are the first books I ve read by Ann Swan and I was pleasantly surprised Each book has a great love story and an even greater mystery The characters are well fleshed out and Stutter Creek could be where you go on vacation retire or it might be home for you The town and characters are very realistic and you will fall in love with both The mysteries are each different and each one keeps you guessing I will definitely be reading of Ms Swann s books Paperback Ann SwannThis book is about a serial killer who is in a respected position within the community of Stutter Creek He wants to spend a whole night with his best girl after all he has not seen her in a long time He wants it all to be perfect as he wants to show her off to the world. Suspense Copper lakeshore I like the way the author gets the reader into the mind of the killer his thought process s and the way he views society His background shows an unhappy childhood but he chose to kill he got excited by it Ok it may have start out unintentional but it was there under the skin waiting to be utilised The general description and demeanour of the killer gave me the absolute eebie jeebies. Book Copper lakeshore Detective Dean the author makes you feel the love of the family and you actually wanted to be a part of that thanksgiving dinner it was awesome Some of the scrapes she got into well I must admit I did the eye roll and thought no that is what all the silly teenagers do in these silly movies your a cop so act like it On saying that I love her character she was strong willed and feisty and a real man s woman I love the relationship between Kendra and Woody. PDF Copper lakers Swann s set up is pretty damn great too You meet the killer in the first chapter and get a good picture of his twisted mind right away But then she makes you wait for confirmation on who he is and a general idea of how he picks his victims You don t meet too many male characters but you re sex life is pretty vanilla if you don t know nearly every inch of your lover But that detail aside I am crazy about this book and look forward to reading the other two I missed Paperback

Copper Lake fictionmanai Most of the books characters were quite lifelike imperfect hard working in search of a good life and challenged by life s relationships Detective Kendra Dean is new to the Copper Lake area a recent divorcee with 3 grown children she s currently on suspension due to the death of a suspect in her custody back in Pine River Kendra was an incredibly level headed calm methodical character The only reference to her age was the fact that her children were grown her strength and stamina never seemed to fail her fear panic or helplessness never seemed to consume her she almost seemed like a larger than life character Woody James worked with Kendra back in Pine River and many on the force thought they were an item and false rumors circulated Although there is no romantic relationship between the two there are hints that one may develop although not in this book Then there s Edgar product of an unhappy and dysfunctional childhood he morphs from being a cutter to an accidental murderer and then to a serial killer with a predilection for femur bones I found I never really reached that point where I hated Edgar for the all of the awful things he had done instead I felt sorry for him and the method that he had adopted over the years to control his feelings He was such a conflicted person by day he was a doctor helping others living a seemly normal life and then when he couldn t handle things he reached out to his best girls or committed another atrocity The most surprising thing about this book is though the subject matter is grizzly and twisted this is what I would call a clean suspense thriller The tone language family values and lack of graphical descriptions leave a lot to the readers listeners imagination As it turned out I missed the edgier darker graphical descriptions of victims the thoughts of the antagonist or the excited swear word uttered in shock or frustration during the investigation. Copper Lake ebookee I did feel like there was one unresolved issue The storyline around Ella her son Nick and his father Possibly these are characters we get to meet in this book that will be back in future books but at the conclusion of this book they just seemed to have dropped out of the story abruptly. Copper lake juvenile detention center Mindy Grall was the narrator of the audible book Her delivery was good but at times her tone seemed peppy and high pitched I was glad that she didn t attempt tonal changes for the various characters but pacing and changes to create mood and feeling would have been an improvement. Book Copper lakewood For me this was a 3 star read and 3 star audio performance Paperback Yes I am the author That s why I feel it s okay to give you a brief review If you like strong conflicted women you will probably like Detective Kendra Dean Not only has her professional life taken a nosedive now her personal life has come undone Then she finds the remains of a murder victim Can she bring the killer to justice or will she become another of his homemade tattoos I won t answer that spoiler question but I will say that this book number three in the series is probably the best one yet simply because I ve learned so much about plotting and point of view I hope you like it Kendra Dean and Woodrow James make quite a pair in my opinion at least.
