Book Angels in Seashore cover comAngels in Seashore Cove is the second novel in the Love and Laugh in Seashore Cove series Check out my review on the first novel in the series Crazy Little Thing Called Matchmaking Although this is the second story in the series it is not a direct continuation of the first story However the author did weave in a few characters from the first novel as friends of the main characters in this novel I love when they do that This is the story about an unusual chance for two soulmates to recognize the love that exists between them and open their hearts to one another When two people spend their lives being just friends but both secretly have strong feelings for one another often times they don t act on those feelings in fear that they will ruin their friendship Sean and Diana are two such people and are a bit a stubborn when it comes to love so they need a little help Jack and Angie are sent from heaven to help guide these two in hopes that they can find the love that they never allowed in their own lives Will this be the chance that they need to make things right I enjoyed the story of Sean and Diana finding their first real love in conjunction with Jack and Angie s second chance at love It was a bit ironic that the older couple was helping the younger couple do what they couldn t while they were friends on earth Much like the first novel in the series the story is quite sexually charged but the intimate scenes are not over the top or too blush inducing If you don t enjoy stories with a bit of language and quite a bit of discussion about sex then this isn t the novel for you If you enjoy women s fiction and chick lit that makes you smile laugh and root for the characters to make it work then this is the one for you Sometimes life throws us some hard choices But as long as you re true to who you are you ll never go wrong 4 5 starsI received an Advanced Review Copy free from the publisher Booktrope in exchange for an honest review Currently 2.
