1 I had seen this in my recommended books for a while and I decided to give it a shot I expected a bodice ripper with some sort of social media gimmick What I got was a well thought out and developed romance novel that had none of the usual surprises Florance is a struggling author with a quirky best friend and a lot of emotional trauma Graham is a successful businessman with his own demons to fight Matt is the roommate who has always been there for Florance. Neighborhood social cohesion The prologue confused me at first and I almost sent the book back after the first few pages because I thought I had accidentally bought something else But I continued on and quickly realized that this book was not going to be the usual boy meets girl I read a lot from this genre and was excited to see a book that doesn t follow the usual pattern The first few chapters I kept waiting for the earth shattering kaboom which signaled the start of a relationship and the unrealistic we re in love.

I love you it s not a straight course of bliss JL Mac does a great job of giving the reader enough information so that they think they know where the story is headed but it s only after the shock of reading it does the reader realize how much they didn t know I ended up reading the book in 2 days because I couldn t put it down I m still in shock over some of the things that were revealed and how the author was able to hide the secrets from the reader without the reader feeling like they were missing something. Social neighborliness The characters are well thought out and believable Even when they do stupid things This is a book that tells a story.

Loved it I love anything written by J L Mac but this series I have a feeling will be my favourite I was completely immersed in Goliath and Flors story the layers to their characters have you wondering what the hell will happen next Every time I thought I had it figured out turns out I didn t so many twists and turns You could feel how torn Graham was throughout but you can t figure out quite what he s torn about but then you witness his relationship with Florence the fun games love laughter In my head I described him as a man child life s too short to be boring and these characters are far from boring The relationships between the characters were written about in depth so many levels to this book but I have to say the relationships between Flor and her Dad and Graham and his sister were brilliantly written The storyline itself touches on some very real issues and I personally think J L Mac approached this in such a realistic heartfelt way I love a book that s almost real life 100% realistic and I genuinely cannot wait to see where this series goes I cannot give enough praise for Social Neighbor Social Neighbor Social Series 1 Mac has written a beautiful and funny story that pulled on my heart really hard Graham is the sexy rich guy every girl wants but he has an illness he is ashamed of and a guilty conscience Flor is the sweet young lady dreaming of writing her own children s book despite her sheltered childhood and her own guilt They meet many times briefly before everything clicks Their relationship has bumps and turns in the road which gives us a truly realistic love story I laughed cried and cringed with this couple as I couldn t put the book down I read Vital Sign a few years back and again my heart was full Mac has out done herself with Goliath and Flor My copy was given for my honest review Social Neighbor Social Series 1 Reviewed for Nerdy Dirty FlirtyLink Social Neighbor Social Series 1 Florence Randall wants nothing than to write Not for the women s magazine that she currently works for but for herself as a children s book author It has been all she has ever dreamed of Books were once her salvation from a very dismal reality but now they are a source of anxiety and stress It all seems relatively easy Except it isn t Not for her Tragedy forced Flor to skip her entire childhood and it has proven to be one hell of a writer s block With her job at the magazine hanging in the balance her noisy neighbor disrupting creativity and a new love interest giving her whiplash it doesn t look like Flor s books will ever be finished Flor strikes a deal with her irritating neighbor He will help her do what it takes to finish her books and she will help him recover from surgery Simple enough Or is it Falling in love with the boy next door was never part of the deal and neither was unearthing the past As it turns out things are never just as they appear Reliving a childhood that was painful the first time around comes at a cost and falling for a man who is doomed to shatter her heart is the worst possible thing she could do but she doesn t have a choice because everything about his troubled soul beckons to her Is a broken heart worth following her dreams Social Neighbor Social Series 1 Charles trimmer yhvhgh Social Neighbor Social Series 1 What a ride This story had me all over the place I m a rollercoaster of emotional after having read this It s really a beautiful tale of family loss strength survival love. Social Neighbor pdf l and so much It touches on some real tough subjects and the author did an amazing job portraying them in a real life way We get to go on this incredible journey with the main characters and follow them as they trudge through some messy and sad events yet it s beautiful and amazing thing called life You can feel the chemistry between them and they both bring each other out of their so called shell of demons from their past and present and they finally get to experience what real love it is There s some twists that I didn t see coming nor did I ever expect it to be and it made the story all the better I cannot wait to see what the author does with future books in the Social She setting Social Neighbor Social Series 1 Review to come soon Social Neighbor Social Series 1 Secrets they have a way of showing up when you least expect them They have the ability to worm their way into every aspect of your life They can shatter everything you ve worked for in an instant.
