How to bed a baron book This is a novella while I ve been disappointed in many short stories the characters in this one were already well developed and the story was well told English After reading How to Seduce a Scot last month I was really hoping for a follow up for Baron Farleigh and I was so happy when Christy English contacted me to see if I d be interested in reading his novella How to Bed A Baron Seriously there might have been a squee or two maybe even a little happy dance But that s between me and the dogs since they re only ones that saw it Well I just got done reading this little gem and I loved it Farleigh hinted at a previous love in How to Seduce a Scot and I was so happy that we got to meet her At first I was afraid that she had passed or some other tragedy but luckily she was only working with her father in Italy. How to bed a baronus saddle Their reunion was pretty fast paced as Serena was trying to escape a Frenchman and Arthur needed a fiancee to bring home to his mother Thinking to kill two birds with one stone Arthur offered to help Serena while asking for a favor of his own Visiting his mother and acting as the fiancee that left him on the side of the road. How to bed a baron book series Since this was a novella everything happened very quickly in the span of a day but since they ve loved each other since they were kids the feelings were easy to believe And luckily there wasn t a whole lot of angst over the romance and the fact that Arthur had just been engaged earlier that day because Serena is the only woman he has ever loved. How to bed a baron pdf summary While I was really hoping for a full length novel for Arthur I m really glad I got to see him get his HEA even if it was a little short for my liking Overall though I think this is definitely a must read for anyone who read How to Seduce a Scot Finished copy kindly gifted through in exchange for an honest review English The plot was a bit convoluted for such a short piece but fine Same as with the first book in the series the hurdles to keep them apart were pretty puny and mostly in their own heads And the characters were pretty likable in this as well English I liked this short story but wish the author had made it longer with details The hero Arthur is a very nice man whom we met in How to Seduce A Scot and he deserved a HEA The heroine Serena is a childhood friend who has been out of the country with her father an archaeologist returning home to England with an artefact to ensure her father s legacy who then stumbles across her childhood friend But it was so short This could have been expanded so much in countless places and was abrupt at times But ugh Serena and Arthur made me feel so much which is why I m giving it 3 stars rather than 2 English
