Book children of the holocaust
How do you kill a god a Greek god one of the Ancients The professor had never been asked that before Jim Burges and his wife Sally eagerly awaited the answer Jim claimed to have a murderous god stalking him and he needed to know The professor swallowed hard before proceeding He knew they weren t going to like his response Children of the GodsI love the cover artwork Love the title Got 30 pages in and skimmed the rest until the end Wanted to read it but NOPE No character development Stifled conversations Very plain very boring Hate to leave bad reviews but this book left me no choice Clark Graham A love story with a mythical twist Drama thriller action all rolled into one well done story Clark Graham Children of the godsAudiobook reviewThe premise of this book was intriguing and I wanted to like it but it wasn t for me That s not to say it s not for you Jim is looking for a way to kill a murderous Ancient Greek God hellbent in taking over the world He also happens to be Jim s father His father is very adamant that he and Jim take over together and isn t taking no for an answer As Jim and his wife flee his obsessive pursuit they desperately try to find a way to not only stop his plan but also figure out why his father has been murdering women all over the country My personal issues are I found the writing to be a bit choppy and too female male stereotypic I had zero connection to any of the female or male characters in this story While I realize the wife isn t the MC she could have been a strong character but she wasn t There were no individual emotional characteristics of any character actually so I couldn t feel anything towards any of them It was stiff and emotionless The only thing the women were remotely interested in were shopping and cooking which I couldn t relate to The men were the same but with guns and jobs. Book children of the holocaust This book was given to me by the author or narrator in exchange for an honest unbiased review Clark Graham It was an interesting idea for a book but being a fan of greek mythology I was hoping for a bit Clark Graham Gods Murder Mayhem Good book Read in one sitting Could have had a little background but still all in all good Great plot and characters I highly recommend Would hope another one is in the works Clark Graham This is my review of the audio version as posted on Audible Possible spoilers alert It s another book hard for me to rate On the one hand the premise was good a Greek god trying to take over the world with the help of his unwilling kids And one of those kids trying to oppose and kill him to save the human world Sounded great a suspenceful thriller with Greek mythology in the mix what do you want right Well the execution somehow fell flat for me The Greek god as bad as he was countless times said to be did not feel as menacing as he could have even though he did kill several people in a merciless manner the run for life didn t radiate the rush and threat and scare it should have would you admire the landcapes while running away into hiding and even the fight scenes did not feel action packed somehow It s difficult for me to explain why that was so but maybe it s the writing style that was the reason Short sentences with not too many descriptive adjectives sounded kind of rough as if it was the first draft the base for the story that was supposed to be developed later on As it is the book definitely lacks depth both plot and characterwise at least it does for me. Children of the gods book 95 The narration was OK I liked what Mr Campbell did with the text he was given The fact that there was not much of voice differentiation did not bother me as it was obvious who was speaking anyway And the pace of his reading was good too I would like however to listen to another book in his interpretation to decide how good a narrator he really is. Children of the gods dark witch DISCLAIMER I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review Clark Graham Good start but went downhill writing seemed a little too simplistic and towards the end felt hurried Needed better editing as well lots of errors but the story was a good concept and enjoyable Clark Graham Audible A good premise. Children of fallen gods pdf It was oddly paced and halting I was given this book by the narratorauthor or publisher free for an honest review Clark Graham First of all this is the first time I ve heard of this author But I have to say I really liked this book And I m surprised but pleased to know that the gods could die Though I do wonder how Zeus died Did he really die of old age or did that crazy son of his have something to do it Anyways I really liked how Jim treated his brother and his mom even after he had found out the truth of how he came to be And even if he couldn t have stopped what all had happened til the end I am glad he finally put his foot down with his wife to make sure she was safe But I m now curious as to what the future holds for Jim and his family I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review Clark Graham
