Easy to read and very up to date with topical events I finished it in a couple of days and I feel sometimes it is nice to read something where you are not having to think about anything in particular but can just sit back and enjoy a pleasant book DexterBreakaway Reviewers received a copy of the book to review English I m pretty certain I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway years ago back when the UK could enter the giveaways I didn t really know much about it and think I was going through entering all of them in the hopes that I would win one Therefore I pretty much went into this book blind Side note this is my honest review.

Debby Holt lives with her husband in Bath She started writing short stories when her five children were small She wrote her first novel The Ex Wife s Survival Guide in 2006 Since then she has written three Annie May s Black Book The Trouble with Marriage and Love Affairs for Grown Ups Having been a spectacularly useless teacher in the past she is fully aware of how lucky she is to be doing something she loves. The Soulmate kindle store I like the tone of Debby Holts books it is always warm and inviting English I am not sure what this book was all about Lots of characters lots of interactions between those characters. Soul mate book but if I was asked what was this story all about I could not find the right words English A funny and honest account of finding love again for both the young and oldHenry has been a widower for four years is approaching retirement and has never thought about finding a new partner until one day he saves a friend s life by pushing her out of the way of some falling masonry This restores his self esteem and feeling of well being and he decides that he is still only 62 so why not spend the rest of his life with someone else the only problem is how do you find that special one His mid thirties daughter Maddie has broken up with Freddy whom she considered the love of her life Sixteen weeks later she receives a invitation to his wedding and attends in an effort to finally close that chapter in her life This she does realising that she has finally lost Freddy but in doing so realises like her father that she would also like to find a new partner and also that she would like the chance to have a baby. Lilith in the first house synastry soulmates They both try the archetypal routes aimed at their age groups Henry tries a book club Maddie tries both speed dating and internet dating with hilarious consequences Interspersed with their story are various other family members work mates and friends and this is where for me the book lost a couple of stars There seem to be too many characters who all seem to have problems including Maddie s sister Nina who has two children with Robbie but has never married Robbie is a workaholic and Nina ends up having a brief affair with a teacher from her old school Maddie s work partner is gay and his boyfriend has had a baby with a woman before coming out One of Maddie s aunts has been married twice but we discover that one of her husbands was a transvestite To me it was almost as though the author wanted to include so many characters that the main two got lost in the detail. The soul mate tv series The book ends happily although I will not spoil any prospective readers enjoyment by saying what happens It is what I call a feel good book not at all impacted by how I received the book In this story we follow father and daughter Harry and Maddie through different circumstances they have decided they need to start dating again they decide to create a pact to both actively put themselves out there and find dates This book for me was a bit of a drag You know that I don t really like romance novels unless they re done really well so once I found out that the two main characters in this book were going to try and find love it immediately put me off it There was nothing specifically bad about this book it just didn t grip me It wasn t really about romance it was about various failed romances where people just seemed to moan about their inability to find love It was just such a slow story where nothing really happened the characters just slowly went through their lives I didn t find anything particularly engaging throughout Also there were far too many characters involved the story definitely could have done with less characters and relationships It needed to focus on making the reader feel connected to the two main characters not their sisters friends etc I think it would have been a much better story if it had concentrated on those In the end I felt like my attention was being pulled by too many different couples and I found that I didn t care about their relationships and considering it is a book about relationships you can imagine how boring it was So overall I found the story really boring it was only a relatively short book but it too me so long to get through it that it felt so much longer If you like slow books about failed relationships then pick this one up For me I think I like my romances to be action so I just didn t vibe with this story at all sorry English

., The soulmate search full book online free Henry and Maddie decide that they will both try to find someone and to ensure that they keep trying new ideas make a pact to meet up regularly to discuss their progress, The soulmate search full book online free This book was very amusing and from time to time you can totally empathise with the characters but I feel it could have been even better with less subplots
