Edvard Grieg Boy of the NorthlandI chose this book for our Grieg composer study because of its brilliant idea to have actual pieces from Grieg interspersed throughout the text It had moments like And Grieg heard the cowherd s song and it inspired him Here is a song he wrote about cowherds Then it will have the sheet music within the book I however used Spotify I also liked this text because it contains a short retelling of Peer Gynt the occasion of many of Grieg s most well known pieces It was much longer than other children s books on Grieg 165 pages but it had everything I wanted.
