Really great book on 1970s Astroculture Geppert s concept of the Post Apollo paradox is incredibly fascinating and connects Space culture to the self reflective shifts seen in the 1970s I think this book and its articles do a great job describing how Space culture did not diminish in the 1970s but rather shifted as humanity itself underwent major changes The chapters on 2001 A Space Odyssey and Lego Spaceland were highlights for me and really emphasize Geppert s idea of astroculture being heterogenous English
