The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other a place where no matter what you are from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew you can be anything Fans of Disney animation will love this comic book re telling of the movie featuring optimistic Officer Judy Hopps and the fast talking scam artist fox Nick Wilde Disney Zootopia Cinestory ComicDisney Zootopia Cinestory ComicThe artworks were basically screenshots of the movie they could ve put effort a little clearer and brighter wouldn t hurt Great movie though one of my favorites Paperback This book in concept is really great It s basically the movie as told with speech bubbles and screenshots It really should be the next best thing to the actual DVD Blu Ray However it sadly fails on several levels. Disney zootopia cinestory comickey First look at the screenshots on the cover Now imagine if someone took a picture of those screenshots using a early 2000 s camera phone Yeah it s not pretty The colors are muted the pictures are grainy some of them were double printed leading to an even blurry grainy look and some of the darker scenes are printed so dark you can barely see what s going on Which is unfortunately most of the suspenseful or action filled scenes On top of that several scenes themselves are completely removed or barely glanced over in the book most noticeably the aftermath of the press conference scene Nick s Backstory and the apology scene and some scenes are given way too much time in the book then necessary such as the entrance to Zootopia and the scene in the lab I did also notice a few scenes lines that weren t in the movie at all and a few screenshots that were repeated for apparently no reason SIX times they used the same screenshot of Bogo on three consecutive pages sometimes twice on the same page There was also five pages in the back devoted to another Disney Cinestory which I feel would have been fine if it didn t feel like scenes were cut from the book just to incorporate their ad. Disney zootopia cinestory comickey If you re a big fan of Zootopia this is a neat book to have only if to reminisce about the movie while you don t have it The story albeit not fully is there Most of the memorable lines are there And it s the biggest Zootopia book that has been put out so far However if you don t know anything about the movie this isn t the place to start You lose most of the impact of the story when all the most heart wrenching scenes are toned town to one or two screenshots or removed entirely And the darkness of the pages mixed with the fact the story jumps around a bit it might not even appeal to kids all that much It s a shame because this could have been the perfect companion book Instead what we get is a book I can only recommend to fans of Zooptopia who like collecting merchandise Paperback There were some things I noticed in here that I didn t notice in the movie 1 When Nick and Judy were in Bellwether s office she had Doug s number on her phone 2 When Judy is back on her family farm the newspaper she is wrapping carrots in has a picture of the old man from UP when be is a kid3 If you watched the movies you already know about the weird disney movies the weasel is selling 4 Okay this one is mind blowing So you know the weird old guy in Frozen Duke Wezzleton He was always getting upset because people were calling him Weaselton right Well it is vice versa now The weasel gets upset about being called Wezzleton because his name is Weaselton Paperback The book was good but it missed a lot of key details Paperback Cinestory takes you into the filmic version of the story Zootopia does not disappoint Paperback

3. Disney zootopia cinestory comiccon 2021 5 overall this is just movie stills from the Zootopia film And I love that movie but this book doesn t quite measure up to the film for a few reasons One the book cute out a few scenes from the movie while those scenes aren t key to the plot and it moving forward they do add something to the story and do impact the feeling of the story and push it over arching moral leason And by removing those scenes you lose some of that message impact But I also have issue with the book physical printing most graphic novels are printed on a glossy photo style paper but this was printed on standards cartrigde or printer paper which made some of the darker night scene panels harder to view because the images are muddled and harder to read what the images is which takes away some of the ejoyment of the book Also there is some common reuse of certain panels for multiple scenes which I wasn t crazy about So their was some flaws with this movie to graphic novel book that made me lose some love for this story but overall an enjoyable book and love having a still fram version of a loved movie to revisit at any time Paperback Quisiera la versi n para leer en espa ol Paperback.
