Soldier Injured PTSD Loner Thomas Vega had traveled a twisting perilous road from the deserts of the Middle East to the top of a lonely mountain on the outskirts of Tennessee As a Special Forces soldier in the US Army Tom helped save a lot of lives as an Army Ranger But he paid a dear price Nightmares Post traumatic stress And the seeming inability to sustain a romantic relationship With his time in the service officially over and his service dog Bandit as his only real companion Thomas retreats from civilization and buys a small farm hoping to at last find some peace in his life Then on a chance trip into town for some basic supplies Thomas encounters a scuffle and immediately goes into hero mode Waitress Scared Unappreciated Loner India Gibson was doing her best to improve life for herself and her jealous younger brother who had a criminal history already Working nights taking classes during the day good plot but too short unless you purchase the next book Not me Paperback This is a quick interesting read about a wounded warrior saving a woman from being attacked Both of them become attracted to each other but they can t seem to come together Sometimes you need to ask questions Enjoy I did Paperback Thomas is an ex army ranger just trying to learn to live again as a civilian him and his service dog usually keep to themselves cause Thomas isn t much on company or relationships when it comes to dealing with his PTSD but a trip into town changes his life forever India is just trying to stay afloat working nights school during the day and then looking out for her criminal brother she has no time for anything else til one night a stranger comes to her rescue Thomas and India find than they ever thought I can t wait for bk 2 on these two I m loving it Paperback Hero Healing a Warrior tells how Thomas Vega a returning vet comes back to his isolated farm in the Tennessee mountains and on a trip to town rescues India from a mugger It is the sweet start of a story but leaves the reader with a cliffhanger and the need to purchase the next two parts of the story to find out how these two end up or not Paperback
