I love political thrillers particularly those that build on one another Rob Shumaker has done this effectively throughout the series gripping the reader A solid narrative develops plausible scenarios while infusing political flavour to keep things unpredictable Shumaker presents high tension moments forcing the reader to linger with questions Characters develop throughout the series with many returning faces offset by a handful of new people Still on a terrorism bent I hope national political issues emerge in the coming books. The political landscape with a terrorism flavouring is once at the centre of the reading experience with plot points embedded in a great story The reader is left wondering about where things might head forced to remain attune to the various directions Political machinations are front and centre with a few sub plots building from book to book Working with the element of political surprise Shumaker offers up a credible and yet surprising piece This helps me push forward with a series that has me eager to keep bingeing.
