Book Can the Elect Be deceived meaning I have had this book for a while Mainly as I misplaced it at some point The majority of the book is quite entertaining The author got conned and led along by someone she only got talking to due to their hatred of Halloween The woman string her along for a long time and created a web of lies that was quite impressive The author admits in parts that she was slow on the uptake about this The text is unbelievable to read and some of it made the author seem to be extremely gullible I doubt this was her purpose of writing the book though I feel the last couple of chapters where she gets to be judgemental to certain minorities was the reason behind the book Any shred of sympathy I had for the author left me in those chapters Please don t read this book That s my first piece of advice The second piece of advice is to never trust anyone who doesn t like Halloween Can the Elect Be Deceived Fairly well written if not a little too naive sounding for my liking The story flows easily but I personally struggled to get on with narrators voice and found her a bit whiny and that made it difficult to enjoy.
