Star wars books ranked Gran final Star Wars Darth Vader 2015 2016 15 Finished another comic series with Olivia Grace She really enjoyed these Star Wars comics especially the Vader ones There was some good and some bad dumb Commander Karbin in this series Definitely picked up from the previous issues and looks like the next arc will be fun Hoping the library will have the next series for Olivia Grace and me Star Wars Darth Vader 2015 2016 15 End of Vader Down arc so spoilers Honestly I really like how the Vader comics are structured I like how he forms the Worst Timeline Evil Opposites versions of the Star Wars heroes and the droids definitely steal the show The combat between 000 and BT and R2 and C3PO genuinely made me laugh out loud These are things I m going to remember about these comics Though I m not sure that s exactly what the author thought I should walk away withAs comics will do this is rather convoluted at times The ending is as should be expected unsatisfying But I do love to see Vader spank all of these ill conceived arrogant The Force Is Obsolete Monologuing Baddies Having a Mon Calamari bad guy rival with Grievous Arms Tech was super fun though I would have liked to see him do a bit than monologue about how smart he was Dr Aphra is really interesting but I find her motives to be on Vader s side pretty weak Obviously she s toast if she were to break with him But I think the idea is that you re supposed to be in a bit of a Will They or Won t They with her and Vader and WTF Like that just really bums me out because surely there are interesting things she could be doing than pining over the Galaxy s Most Toxic Man That does her dirty. Star wars the book of boba fett release date Finally I don t really understand a thing how is it possible that Leia is able to stand across from the man and he never senses that she s strong in the Force Like the whole thing is that he can pick up on Luke from a parsec out But Leia can stand right in front of him and he s just like I m going to get you this time Princess I mean it No really You are getting got oh drat another annoying distraction and she s getting away Foiled again Regardless though the Star Wars Vader Down arc is good rollicking fun that helps to fill some holes between the movies in interesting ways Star Wars Darth Vader 2015 2016 15 This concludes Vader Down but doesn t really conclude any story at all And I still gave it 5 stars Of course It s continuing and this takes it in a difference direction to continue But I wonder how it will continue from here I d ask the questions that are strongly in my mind but that would be spoiler ific Star Wars Darth Vader 2015 2016 15 Vader Down concludes with this issue How was it Was it great What happened I won t tell you any spoiler of course but I was a bit disappointed with how Vader Down ended Sure the action was over the top and very cinematic and I enjoyed every bit of it But the story was a downer specially the ending If you want to know what I mean the story is let us just say that it is a what happens in Vrogas Vas stays in Vrogas Vas type of thing At least we get this sick cover These comics are canon so whatever happens here must affect the whole Star Wars saga Not that I am expecting something huge that could have happened in the comics but I couldn t also believe that this crossover despite being enjoyable to read would in the long run be a trivial event Of course not all are trivial Who knows we might see Aphra on the big screen someday. Star wars kindle unlimited Overall Vader Down is enjoyable it has an epic start but ends rather flat and unremarkable Star Wars Darth Vader 2015 2016 15 Darth Vader 15 C 3P0 Excuse me Mr Black Krrsantan I ve been asked to see if you d refrain from these brutalities Star Wars Darth Vader 2015 2016 15 Solid conclusion to the Vader Down story series I liked it and I liked how BA Vader was at times in this storyline Here s hoping we see Vader in Rogue One Star Wars Darth Vader 2015 2016 15 I have to admit I m reading this through the side of my eye whilst squinting and gritting my teeth now that these are official canon The stories themselves are good and all but acting like they actually happened during the events of the original trilogy is getting to be a tougher sell every month Star Wars Darth Vader 2015 2016 15 As Leia aims at Vader she thinks of Alderaan s destruction and has a vision of Luke Han and Chewie lying dead on the ground which reminds me of a vision in Age of Ultron I like her decision to set aside her vendetta against Vader to make sure that her friends are safe Krrsantan punches a negotiating C 3PO and gets electrocuted as a result I am still confused about why it was such a large shock You see sparks in his sockets but would there have been that big of an effect Aphra s intervention in the Vader vs Karbin duel is entertaining and I got a kick out of her saying Aaaahghhhhhhh Ejectejecteject Vader finally kills Karbin who dies knowing that Vader has a larger agenda than just avenging the Death Star but still oblivious to what that agenda is Though Luke is captured by Royal Guards Vader uses the Force to blow up the engine As Luke escapes BT 1 snipes the guards It was amusing that Han says You must have a guardian angel Krrsantan is gone and C 3PO s arms are still on 0 0 0 I am left wondering whether 3PO may get those arms back and when the Darth Vader Annual takes place Aphra threatens the Rebels with a minefield but she gets a nice knock out punch from Leia and gets captured thus explaining why the next volume of Star Wars is called Rebel Jail Star Wars Darth Vader 2015 2016 15
