Nice teaser This is a decent teaser for the full novels short but fully realized I liked it though it didn t WOW Fantasy Young Adult Science Fiction Prequel to a book. Antique mirror splashback Very short story that developed too fast for me I didn t care about the characters and the plot wasn t much interesting either A woman gets sucked into a mirror where a man lives back in 1915 They have to fall in love to break the curse Fantasy Young Adult Science Fiction An interesting short read Great for the quick escape book Good characters emotions a little suspense action and a HEA There wasn t much depth but it was pretty well rounded considering the short length It did have me a little curious to read in the series Good luck Fantasy Young Adult Science Fiction As a fan of ghost stories time travel and the paranormal I really enjoyed the story plus there s the added bonus of its connection to the Witches of Hant Hollow series It s a fun short read that leaves you wanting There s good news though because D F Jones has stories for your enjoyment I ve read all her novels and have enjoyed every one Fantasy Young Adult Science Fiction I loved this story It was short and sweet and had me wishing this ghost would appear in my mirror Fantasy Young Adult Science Fiction It moved along a little too quickly A lot happens in this story in a very short amount of pages and there are so many ways it could have been fleshed out fully It seems that the author was going for suspenseful moments but I didn t feel it probably due to the rapid pace of the story Since this is time travel going to another time period I would have liked historical details I felt the ending was rushed It ended very abruptly and since this is a love I felt that Max s presence at the ending took away from the story This author has potential however There certainly is a very active imagination Fantasy Young Adult Science Fiction The premise behind this story is what attracted me to it A man cursed inside a mirror A career woman starting new Two very different worlds coming together in a most bizarre way Unfortunately however the idea behind the story is much better than the story itself I would have found this story much interesting if they had grown to know each other in a very real way remaining separated by the mirror Growing to love each other and desperately trying to find a way to be together to break the curse of the mirror Instead she is sucked into his side of the mirror and the story is fleshed out in a very teenage silly and juvenile way What could have been a great love story was just a cute cliche d little fantasy romp that actually had me laughing in some places and wincing in others. Antique mirror glass cut to size There were plenty of grammatical errors and a big need for editing For example this line She could see us from the reflection of us in the mirror Ouch All the writer needed to say was simply She could see our reflection in the mirror An example of the silly was this line I would like to tell you my life story and how I ended up in this cursed mirror LOL and this was right after she received the shock of finding out that she was also cursed But tell me your life story Sure Sounds good Let me just pull up a chair The author also doesn t really stretch out too far in her descriptions as we see some all too familiars in here such as ton of bricks time seemed to stand still and smashed to smithereens There was even a Whoa Nelly in there. Antique mirror glass However this all being considered it was still an entertaining story You can tell the author had fun with it and has a love for storytelling Hopefully over time she will become a better writer as well It was cute A recommend No But hey it was free and a short read Fantasy Young Adult Science Fiction Antique Mirror by D. Antique mirror candle sconce F Jones is about a young artist Victoria moving into a home with a very curious antique mirror She realizes the laughter she sometimes hears and the shadows she sometimes sees are coming from this antique item The very handsome Jonathan was been cursed to reside in the mirror for a very long time Can Victoria help break the curse I absolutely enjoyed reading Antique Mirror and I thank Ms Jones for letting me read her amazing short tale With some suspense and romance Jones pulls together a unique story one that should not be missed Gladly I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars rating I would recommend Antique Mirror to those who like short reads with suspense romance and some fantasy Fantasy Young Adult Science Fiction FREE on today 11 19 2019 Fantasy Young Adult Science Fiction I was trying really hard to make my average book rating higher this year but then this book came along I haven t read something as stupid as this in a really long time It was like the author had never met another living breathing person in her life yet she still tried to write a book about them I didn t even expect it to be good I mean the summary itself says that it s about a woman falling in love with a ghost in her mirror so it s not like I was expecting some fine piece of literature but I at least thought I would be able to finish it without a small part of my soul dying in the process I picked it up during the exam period It was a moment of weakness I picked up the first book I thought my last two brain cells would be able to get through during my study breaks And I m sad to report I lost those two brain cells Nothing in this book made sense Not A Single Thing For example when the main character saw the ghost for the first time she didn t run away she didn t scream she didn t panic No She told her friend over the phone how hot the ghost in the mirror was A pretty normal interaction I know I just saw a ghost and I know I should be scared but that ass though And don t even get me started on the love interests in the book They fell in love in not in one chapter not in one page IN ONE PARAGRAPH I mean I don t even know how many times I ve puked in my head whilst reading it So just spare your brain cells and don t read it I took one for the team and I just hope one day I ll be able to leave this part of my life behind me Fantasy Young Adult Science Fiction
