I genuinely tried to enjoy this book but first of all most of the original fairy tales he talked about weren t the ones that I had heard read when I was a little kid He was good at explaining how many of the original stories had been re written through the course of years But mainly why anyone would try to destroy old classics was just beyond my comprehension and I didn t like him destroying my childhood memories I did appreciate it as to how he printed the original first and his version second didn t have to flip flop throughout the book Paperback I have won this book in a goodreads giveaway but here is my honest review.
