Great storyI really enjoyed reading this story and found the characters engaging I always love a good baseball book and this was a good one The Change Up A mother caught between her beliefs and the wild emotions that take over when she is around her son s baseball coach. The change up dvd That s my goalthat s why I write from the author s website site_link Would you sacrifice everything for love even if it meant losing it all College baseball coach Sawyer Evans has almost everything she could have wanted She s coaching one of the best Division II teams in the South She started a successful training program for female athletes The only regret in life is her baseball career ending after high school Bellamy Carter is a successful accountant with her own firm a beautiful home and a son she adores For most of Kevin s life it has been just the two of them facing the world which leaves little time for Bellamy to miss being loved When Sawyer comes to town to scout Kevin for a spot on the Statesmen s roster she turns their world upside down It isn t long before Bellamy realizes that she can t ignore Sawyer s presence in her tidy life When tragedy strikes Bellamy is forced to question everything she believes about life love and faith leaving her wondering if she will make it out the other side The Change UpI can safely say this novel is actually stupider than most other stupid romance novels And to be the stupidest in an already stupid genre is pretty impressive Being a glutton for punishment I ve read a bunch of pretty terrible books in the genre and for most of them what passes for a story is juuuust enough to allow me to look beyond the terrible formulaic writing and the completely one dimensional cliches that serve as characters But this story is just too dumb As of their first meeting the two female characters whose names were so dumb I can t even remember them were already deeply in love Secrets buried behind eyes meaningful touches tortured glances OH C MON I know asking for some semblance of realism is asking a lot but SERIOUSLY And why do lesbian romance authors ALWAYS literally all of them use the line I found myself drawn to her for some reason a reason I didn t want to think too much about at the moment or some variation thereof NO ONE ACTUALLY THINKS THAT IN REAL LIFE I think the main issue here is the heavy handedness These authors all try waaaaay too hard to make what is already obvious insultingly apparent Give readers some credit otherwise you insult them and make it so they get so annoyed they put your book down 15% into it like I did with this one The Change Up Yes I read this in one sitting since but I just kept wanting to know about Kevin Even though he was the child of one of the main characters I was rooting for him and his outlook on life The Change Up No words can describe this. The Change-Up ebooks online This is the first book I have read of Syd Parker and I can say it s not the last The two storylines made this book I cheered hoping Bell and Coach would finally get together and prayed that Kevin would make it I won t lie I had a box of tissues next to me reading this I would recommend this book The Change Up Good story good writing and lovable characters When I grow up I want to be Sawyer Evans The Change Up Who doesn t love a book with a baseball theme The story focuses on the relationship between a coach and a ball players mother But the real story is between the ball player and the coach It s a story of love and of family Not just our blood family but our chosen family The Change Up
