Only to get dumped and snowed in at the airport I somewhat hated Carson but I got over it when it became obvious that there were no feelings involved in this relationship from either member which is quite shocking considering they had been at it for two years Julian moves on just as quickly as his boyfriend. Stranded deep crossplay I liked Julian and Emmett as a couple and they seem to have real potential I have read the sequel story to this one Connections Matter and I was just re reading my review of that one and it really seems that these two do attain that potential I feel like I often say this about short stories I review that they should have been longer and sometimes that just stems from my need to read or know about the characters but this one should have been longer because Emmett s what do I call it obsession with Julian being revealed near the end kind of weirded me out and I feel if we had another ten pages I would have probably made my peace with that reveal In essence I feel what I am trying to say is that a short story should voice its conflicts early if it wishes to resolve them otherwise they make quite an impression on how you perceive the story as a whole Stranded 3. Stranded alien dawn 5 Heart Review by DennisJulian is a bit of a workaholic ok that might be an understatement a lot of a workaholic and has just been sent on an emergency work crisis Being such a workaholic isn t good for his personal life or what there is of one Trying to get home before New Year s to be with his boyfriend doesn t look like it s going to happen when he gets Stranded in the Denver airport due to weather. Strandidyll heringsdorf Another stranded passenger and bit of a workaholic is Emmett He is a photojournalist and loves his job but seems to love superheroes a little ok a lot When Julian gets some devastating news Emmet happens to overhear and decides he is going to help Julian through this trying time Or maybe as it turns out the news might not be as devastating as Julian first thought. Stranded travelers assistance If you happen to be Stranded and have about 30 45 minutes to spare I would suggest picking up Nicole Dennis Stranded It s a quick and entertaining read with a couple of characters Julian and Emmett that are pretty entertaining Julian gets some not so good news over the phone from his boyfriend and when he meets Emmett Emmett is good at getting Julian s mind off this news and putting a smile on his face and possibly getting over the news entirely.
