My sister bought this for our upcoming trip to Disney at the end of the month It s my first time but my nephew s second While I found this very informative about the different parks my nephew who is 9 could have cared less about anything in the book So because of that I would recommend this for older kids. In it you have a countdown that a child could fill in depending on how long they have to wait to go to Disney World There s information about Walt that explains how Disney Land was the first park with Disney Land completed after his death There are pages with short lists of what food that kids may be interested in and where you can find them like pizza ice cream chicken nuggets etc times for parades and much including some information about the different hotels that are on property There are also pages that make really neat scrapbook pages for kids The last 20 pages or so are for character autographs All in all I would recommend this for anyone who is planning a trip The pages for autographs alone make it worth the price Birnbaum Guides This is a book that is geared toward older kids I d guess best for ages 8 12 Mine are too young for this one but I think this would be an effective book to get older kids excited about a trip to Disney and a great way to involve them in the planning. I would have liked if this book was applicable to all ages I was hoping there would be a guide as to which rides are best for kids of various ages Birnbaum Guides
