I will be definitely watching out for it The Sheikh s Stubborn Lover The Adjalane Sheikhs 2 Michelle Reynolds is is in the country of Al Sarid to build a retreat on land that was given to her mother Sheikh Adilan Adjalane wants to get the land back from Michelle before his oldest brother Adilan He offers her cash and when that is refused he tries a compromise then seduction Michelle has been warned by her mother that the Adjaline men are dangerous heart breakers and Adilan is no different Will the two reach a compromise I am a big fan of Leslie North s and this is the second in the series that I have read and loved I like her fast paced novellas I liked the characters As much as I liked it.

Adilan wanted to prove to his father he is than the youngest He decided to take a chance to take back his father s land His father gave away a land when he was young and in love Now his former love s daughter Michelle is coming to claim the land and ready to renovate the land She didn t want to spent so much time but she is running into problems even before starting the project Adilan meets Michelle and persuade her to sell the land back to him But she knew it was worth than what he was offering Adilan was sure he could persuade Michelle to sell or switch the land He knew his father is very fond of the land and this is perfect chance to win over his brother Sparks were flying between Michelle and Adilan and they couldn t deny any She wasn t sure if her mother would be okay Both were trying their best to make sure fulfill their goals Slowly and surely both are falling for each other and Adilan decided to try something different that would win his father s approval and win Michelle s heart Will both find their happiness with both sets of parents It was enjoyable read and I did enjoy little bit on this one than the first one Who knew Sheikhs were so sexy and smooth Thanks to Netgalley and Tule publishing for my ARC in exchange for honest review The Sheikh s Stubborn Lover The Adjalane Sheikhs 2 Sheikh Adilan Adjalane has always wanted to prove to his father that he was strong enough to run his families businessbut with his older brother also wanting to run things it makes the family dynamics very crazy. I love Leslie North s books and this is simply another great read from her Michelle Reynolds is in Al Sarid to develop an oasis given to her mother my Sheikh Nimr a former lover whom she left on a sour note Her promise to her mom was to make the property into a form of a sanctuary where those who needed it could come and rejuvenate and rehabilitate and she hopes her mom will be able to take advantage of it especially since her accident three years ago that left her in a wheelchair Upon arrival she realises that her task may not be as easy as she hoped as she is met not by the architect but by none other than Adilan youngest son to Sheikh Nimr When he offers to purchase the land from her she knows she s in trouble Adilan knows he shouldn t want to have feelings for the beautiful American but something tells him to keep her close by When his oldest brother strikes out trying to win the contest their father has put in place to have the piece of property returned to the family he knows he has to do what it takes to protect her. Lots of action a bit of violence huge egos and major competition between siblings and lets not forget the hot and steamy sex scenes this book has a bit of it all It will grab your attention from the beginning and keep it right up to the end with a plot that flows nicely and a love story that will squeeze your heart Well worth the read. There was a time when I loved binging on category romances from Harlequin And to be fair some of those are actually quite good Most contemporary romances these days are similar in story to Harlequin stories although books now have been expanded and have been taken to the next level when it comes to length heat and plot development. This series reminds me so much of the older category romances from HP Even the fact that it s shorter than most of the books I read these days The Sheikh s Stubborn Lover shows the cultural differences that factor into the issues of the relationship between the main characters Of course interracial love stories are no longer new These types of stories have been around for decades But somehow readers still get hooked into stories that show couples who try to adjust to each other despite the differences in their culture and upbringing. I liked this book because both hero and heroine were strong people I like them individually so when they were put together I liked it even I like that the plot was actually simple but Ms North was able to inject the right amount of steam and character development Though the emotions may have been a bit insta love the real connection was still developed throughout the book I read the first book in this series and I have to say I liked both books so if there s to this series in the future I had some issues If things are going to be on the synopsis that appears everywhere they have to be in the book When I was done I didn t remember any reference to Adilan being an Olympian And there isn t any mention to Michelle being a teacher I used the handy dandy search tool and the only hits I got was in the synopsis I also would have loved to know what happened between Michelle s mother and Adilan s father That being said I reviewed the book not the synopsis Loved the book It is a quick five star read When I buy the books in a series as they come out I read them Then when the series is done I go back and read all of them together It makes a great afternoon.
