Forsaken contemporary dance 5 5Review coming soon Forsaken Broken City 2 4 Stars Once again Jessica Sorensen surprised me in such a good way She never fails to deliver unputdownable stories Forsaken is the second installment in her Broken City series and picks up right where the first installment ended so it must be read after Nameless This second book in the series is as intriguing as the first well written and once again Jessica portrayed the whole dystopian world in a very vivid way keeping me at the edge of my seat from start to finish In the first installment in the series we were introduced to Allura the heroine of this series and the three boys who rescued her from the channels Allura had been free for almost a week now discovering about herself and about the new world than she ever thought was possible Allura a voice purrs I may not be able to get to you but I know someone who can Everything is good for our heroine until she s captured by the Forsaken The Forsaken are different to say the least than the other people Allura met so far Their leader realizes Allura is a Nameless and also that she is somehow different from anyone out there Allura and also Reece Ryder and Blaise are in danger and now they have to find out a way to stay alive and also to escape Our heroine still remembers a different world and different people Unfortunately for all of them her memories aren t helping at all She finds our about this new world about who Deorum are and also about Hybrids I m not just a Nameless I have evil blood inside me pumping my heart keeping me alive Like I mentioned above this second installment was as exciting as the first I have to say the concept of the story is fascinating as hell The pace of the story was perfect for this kind of read IMO and the story line was interesting to say the least The plot was well developed and like the previous installment are a couple of turns and revelations and also some action and suspense that kept me glued to the pages The terrific well developed characters were all intriguing in their own way Allura was again a likeable heroine in this second book She s stronger braver and well portrayed from start to finish and the three boys are fantastic here They were so sweet and caring with Allura and their protectiveness was so endearing Again the romantic aspect was not as developed as I would have liked Maybe in the next installment I can only hope Overall this was a great addition to the series and I m looking forward to read the next book I m coming back for you Just you wait One day you ll belong to me and me only Forsaken Broken City 2 3. Contemporary forsaken book 5 StarsBefore I go any further I still wanna read the next book in this series and Oblivion needs to hurry up and release No clue on expected release date However what often happens in a trilogy is the middle book is a filler book and that s just what this is I didn t really find out a whole lot of new information in this one and it was quite short It seems to be quite a bit of vagueness on answering many questions There was a lot of Allura asking them to tell me and one of the guys always hesitating to answer her question Allura is scared and Reece Ryder and Blaise are hell bent on protecting her This book involved quite a bit of Allura getting reassured by the three who all are somehow infatuated with her. Forsaken book 5 Hearts Forsaken is a thrilling second installment in the Broken City series giving us a once broken and now determined to live heroine and three heroes with varying personalities who easily win over our hearts Picking up right where book one left off we re thrown back into the dangerous journey to Leviter Station alongside Allura Blaise Reece and Ryder with the addition of a bump in the road the Forsaken Allura is even driven to find out what her memories mean and who she is after the Forsaken discover her to be than a mere Nameless Despite her confusion and insecurities she learns to hold her own and not rely on the guys to solve her every problem whether in her head or in the physical world The highlight of this story is the way Ms Sorenson develops the bond each of the men have with Allura Although the romance remains on the periphery the slow burn is enough to keep us waiting with bated breath to see the reigning champion of her heart You go against everything I know about the Nameless The way you act the way you interact how well you adapt You re an anomaly The only problem with this story arises in the final few chapters new information about the Grim and Wardens divulged but not utilized leaving us with another abrupt and frustrating cliffhanger That being said however the frustration is minor compared to the anticipation of what else is in store for our outstanding characters in the next book Overall Forsaken is a quick and enormously fun read the riveting action scenes and mystery surrounding Allura ensuring we can t turn the pages fast enough while the pinch of angst that comes with three potential love interests incites an immediate desire to pick up the next book Posted May 7 2016 Forsaken Broken City 2 4.
