Egmont Edition The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark The Cat Who Wanted to Go HomeI was lucky to find this book at hubby s office library When he borrowed it for me I was sure I was going to read this in one shot My daughter had different ideas She was as excited about the book like I was She kept it next to her and was playing with it She wanted to know if it was the footprint of an owl or a penguin. After the conclusion and reasoning off she went to sleep and I grabbed his book Plop is a litttle barn owl who lives with his parents in a nest hole on a tree He is afraid of the dark and decides to be the day bird instead of the night bird He is scared of the dark and doesn t seem to like it His mother suggests he visit the people around and find out about the dark That way they get some sleep and he gets some time to explore on his own. He is excited about being the night bird It s common that children take their time to identify who they are When they explore by themselves they understand about themselves and their purpose You are what you are I would be very excited to hold this book to read it to my little one The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark The Cat Who Wanted to Go Home
