This is my second NR Walker s book and for the life of me I don t know why I m not awe by it I still have the similar problem that I have while reading Cronin s Key The plot simply does not engage me and I feel that both the male leads spend too much time talking about mundane stuff and at least from one side there is an element of insta love. Spencer cohen book onea series Spencer is a professional fake boyfriend that help individual to win back their ex Andrew was introduced to him as a new client to win back his fiance Eli From their first meeting Spencer was enad by the preppy Andrew who is a graphic artist and pianist with a low self esteemed He can t believe someone willingly give up this amazing man Almost 50% of the book took place in just two days filled with them getting to know each other and friendly banter At this point I m losing my patient with the pacing of the story I don t really see Spencer actually doing his job of helping Andrew to get back Eli Instead Spencer spend time falling in love with Andrew and try to keep him for himself while feeling torn about his role The thing I can appreciate in this book is the sweetness and drama free plot Both the characters are such a dear and they were so good for each other I wish there is steam between them I want them to make out so bad There is some hint on Spencer s past but I m not sure whether will it get explore Honestly I had no idea what the next two book will entail So far I don t see any big suspense or big secret awaiting to uncover I shall wait for the blurb to be release to find out what next for these two cuties I can t wait to read the dirty stuff 170 This is pure NR Walker she has this special talent that just puts a giant smile on your face throughout the whole book So cute and sweet and adorable There is no steam all we get is a kiss his sense of humor how shy he got and yet would say some pretty bold things when you least expected it I just loved them both The operation of trying to win Eli back wasn t the main focus but when it was brought up Andrew never seemed too interested in it and the Andrew described the relationship he had with Eli the shady it seemed But even though the little that is revealed about Eli and even though he seems shady there s no real evidence that Spencer can find that points to this guy being a bad guy Which I found frustrating Because something just felt off about the man Another thing that surprised me about this book was even though there was little to no sexy times in this book it didn t bother me I didn t even really look for it I was so enthralled with the relationship that was developing and enjoying the banter between the two MC s that I didn t even miss it I m sure there will be some sexy times in the future books but just know this book didn t need it.
