Soldier book character This book is the first book in the Audian forces series and narrates the lives of three main protagonists whose destinies are inextricably linked to each other and the Audian society Clornel does a magnificent job of expressing each character as distinct this book is for you It appeals to everyone and is an easy read It comes highly recommended by me Happy reading 327 There were parts of this book that I enjoyed especially the overall story line and parts that were just too quickly written or glossed over in my opinion I liked the whole military setting and the idea of teams working together The story felt almost like a cross between Harry Potter the school the matronly Warden the special powers meets Stargate the military teams the science vs military argument etc But for me there was a little too much convenience in some of the scenarios and lack of detail in the explanation of things There were parts written in after the fact almost as a how do I explain what just happened info dump Without any lead up they felt like they were conveniently placed there as an afterthought So while the story itself wasn t bad I found it a bit disjointed and lacking in detail 327
