Star Wars (1977-1986) #84When Solo comes across a rare artifact it will lead into the rediscovery of a planet long since destroyed but why does this planet still exist Star Wars 1977 1986 84I liked it 3 out of 5 star rating. Star wars coloring pages is that the reader is slam dunked out of nowhere on to a sabacc table Han Solo is right in the middle of the final hand of a high stakes gamble versus an opponent who unrealistically overshares some mysterious far away planet full un incalculable riches Is it really too much to ask for a single page or even just a few panels of the 5 W s who what when where and why Han Solo is playing sabacc vs this guy on some random planet Is that really too much If that wasn t off putting enough Han and Chewie outnumbered 10 1 miraculously escape per usual as dozens of blaster bolts just barely miss them as they dash through everyone make it out the front door via foot travel make it all the way back to the Falcon and fly off Han Solo is just a regular dude not any sort of Olympian and Chewbacca is 7 5 tall c mon now Anyway despite ALL of the above once Han Solo makes it to the main plot of this comic aka an alien world with Imperial occupation a devious telepathic alien adversary a female romance interest in the form of a scientist as well as space crystals with their own telepathic powersThe reader ends up getting a really solid Han Solo Star Wars comic This could have easily been a strong 4 star rated issue if the initial opening was done better I want flow I want an immersive story that builds up over time with its highs lows in betweens and added character depth A textual adventure brought to life with colorful imagery in the form of a comic book Not randomly being dropped off into the middle of a story with uncertainties to the left and right Taking a peek ahead at 85 prior to this review it looks like the same We parachute again into some random scene This type of behavior in my opinion greatly diminishes reader buy in Instead of dying to know what will happen next you never know where you will be or what you are going to get I sincerely hope this changes soon. What I don t like about this comic.Onward Roy Richardson
