She found someone better Now she about to mess it up by getting some D from the married no good dude I hope it all works out for her No Love Given 2 Expected To say I expected out of the characters Ms Chanique introduced us to would be an understatement For the life of me I can not begin to fathom how a young lady as smart as Nikki continuously made the same mistakes over and over Slipping up one time is a mistake but continuously doing the same thing over and over is called a habit The same doggish behaviors that Jason and Shaun exhibited in book1 were equally present in the sequel Jason just turmed out to be an all around screwup and there seems to be no redeeming qualities about him Shaun was the most inconsiderate disrespectful character I think I ever encountered He made no qualms about being absent in his children s lives and even went so far as to betray Nikki with a girl that she had bent over backwards to help With everything Nikki endured at the hands of Jason and Shaun she still dealt with these fools and that if nothing else was confusing and frustrating While she was a good mother she still didn t experience any growth in my opinion when it came to relationships and knowing her worth With all of this I still am interested in seeing if Nikki ever grows up when it comes to matters of the heart I feel like as a reader something is missing that may help me better understand the reasoning behind the detrimental decisions that Nikki seems to make when it comes to men In spite of all of this my curiosity has definently been peaked which will require me to read book 3 if for no other reason than to see how the outcome of these characters lives will unfold I gave 3 stars because there were a few instances where the names changed incorrectly while one person was speaking and then the name that is referenced is something completely different This story also didn t flow as seamlessly as I would have expected because of the numerous transitions during the story Not my favorite series written by Ms Chanique J but it isn t all bad either I love the sisterhood and comradere that Nikki and her friends had with each other They illustrate what true sisterhood is all about I think my biggest bone of contention with this story is the likeability factor with the characters That isn t to say that Ms Chanique didn t create well rounded characters.
#heading[2]Nikki went through it all in so little time but never allowed it to blur her vision Graduating from college and keeping a stable mind only proved how strong Nikki is underneath it all Being caught in a web between two men and their love triangle may have become too much for her to handle They say if you lay with a dog you have to expect to come up with fleas but what happens when you lay with two No matter how much Nikki tries to escape her Love patterns but the drama comes back to bite her every time The Love Lies and Loyalty Nikki has as well as share with Jason and Shaun must come to an end but not before it blows up in everyone s face Finding out that all the loyalty you believed and counted on was built on lies there is no happy ending Will their love be strong enough to keep at least one of them with her until the end Do hood fairytales really exist Nikki takes a test on faith and finds out there should never be No Love Given unless it s received first Will she be ready for what s next No Love Given 2No love given pt2Loved the book Chanique J makes sure you don t get comfortable in one sitstuin cause her life is always changing I hope one day she find true love she s a good girl and deserves it No Love Given 2 I really hoped that Nikki didn t give Shaun the time of day because he didn t deserve it Shaun and Jason had both given Nikki unnecessary heartache and pain I couldn t for the life of me understand why she couldn t let either of these men go because she deserved so much Jason had turned into a full blown junkie and Shaun was just a straight bum Nikki would ve done better just being by herself I really hope that Los end up being the man that Nikki deserves with what she s been through she needs a breath of fresh air No Love Given 2 DamnDamn after she done got rid of those no good dudes she did and my hat is off to her for that however the arduous task of watching through the looking glass at how toxic these relationships were created a sense of exasperation versus contentment Will I read future works by Ms Chanique MOST ASSUREDLY I WILL I will however keep my fingers crossed that Nikki grows upkeeps her legs closed to men who do not have her best interest at heart and finally recognize how much she is worth No Love Given 2
