Abandoned as a baby Jake never expected to one day have to choose between his birth mother and the family that raised him When a woman appears and claims to be Jake s biological mother his relationship with the only family he has ever known is tested Are they being over protective or are they right Is she really all that she seems More shocks are in store however and the McKays face a race against time to bring one of their own home Blood Ties The McKays 6 Book 6How much can a family take so well written and engrossing am now going to read the last in the series because l need to know what happens 127 I m a fan of the series so I enjoyed this book too This too had the typo of a character name but again nothing overwhelmingly bothersome I would read 7 if there is one unsure as this didn t leave a cliffhanger ending like 6 did IMHO 6 was the only one that left a cliffhanger the rest just tell a story. Blood ties rogue trader A slow start compared to some other works by this author It took a lot longer for me to get into this book as to other books I ve read by her Once the story developed though and the plot suddenly came crashing through the book became irresistible to put down to the very end 127 I need a breakI m rather happy that the next book in the McKays series is not yet available I was a bit disappointed with the last book I read and disappointed with this one The book lost all contact with reality stretching from the reasonable to the possible to the impossible Perhaps other fans like this stuff but as my headline says I need a break 127 Once again an superbly written book This book kept me mesmerized throughout the entire story The action and suspense was really something else I cannot wait until I read another book by this author 127
