Shadow Heart (The Titans Book 2) By Dan Avera
Shadow Heart (The Titans Book 2) By Dan Avera Kindle Edition Fantasy Shadow Heart (The Titans Book 2) There is a story from long ago, one that tells of a man, beset by rage, who lost himself to the darkness in his heart. It is a story of war and love, of betrayal and devotion, and most of all it is a story of redemption. But to understand that mans tale, there is another you must hear. In the beginning, there were six Titans Spaertos, the most powerful city in the Westlands, has fallen. In one night the wrath of a furious god reduced the shining city and its people to a smoldering mass grave. Now that god, a Titan embodied within the human vessel known as Willyem Blackmane, is insane trapped inside his own mind. He does not move, he does not speak, and every moment he spends locked within his madness brings the shadowy Fallen one step closer to their end game. The remaining Titans have dispersed to the three great seats of power in Pallamar in a desperate attempt to rally humanity to their cause, but centuries of hatred and war have left mankind fractured and divisive, and the Fallen hinder their efforts at every turn. Centuries of lies, secret alliances, and dark legends are about to come to fruition. The Inner Kingdoms are teetering on the brink of self destruction, and old enemies will do anything in their power to exploit this weakness. But all is not lost. In the East a young woman, heiress to the throne of AlBahir, is about to realize that she is far than she appears. In the West, the Mad Princess of Avalone will become the catalyst for the greatest movement Pallamar has ever seen. In cities across the world, a mysterious man in black appears seemingly at random to work his will, his ultimate goal unknown. And deep in the Kahara desert, Clare, a goddess unaware of her true nature, may be the only hope the Titans have of survival. The Fair Warning Clause: This book contains graphic violence, sexual content, mature themes, and some foul language. I read these kinds of books when I was ten years old, but in the interest of fairness I felt that I should warn any prospective buyers out there (eg. parents, grandparents, etc.) in case they do not approve of this kind of content. The violence is nothing that wont be found in other dark fantasy books (or even in some YA books); the sexual content is not pornographic, and is not there just for the sake of titillation; and the mature themes are things that, you can be assured, your children will encounter sooner rather than later. But, there you have it your fair warning, since Im aware that many of my biggest fans were in the 9 to 12 year old range when they first read Fire Heart. It was never my intent that the book be targeted at young adults or children, but hey if they kids like it, Im not complaining. ;) Enjoy! One Last Thing: This book is being released without DRM (digital rights management), as I accidentally did that with Fire Heart and it turned out to be a rather unfortunate thing. Hopefully nobody will have problems reading Shadow Heart, but if you do PLEASE CONTACT ME. You can do this on my website at danaverafireheart.wordpress.com, or you can look me up on Facebook (Dan Avera Fire Heart). Again, enjoy!

I got kind of bored about a quarter of the way through this book so it took me a while to finish it But I pushed through and the middle to the end really held a lot The characters are filled out in this book as is the mythology The end still leaves you with plenty of questions to be answered in the next installment Shadow Heart The Titans Book 2
