PDF Through His eyes and eyes First I must be honest I had no intentions of reading this last novella to The Institute series because I didn t see the purpose in having one installment Having read Defective I had moved on with the characters particularly Jayce and I didn t know if I wanted to Chad s story to continue after he died However I was so intrigued with Howarth s writing that I decided to go ahead and read it My conclusion I felt this was simply an after thought that added very little to the series and in retrospect I don t think it was necessary The explanation of the missing months in Allira s life in Defective are explained but it didn t add to the story at all and seemed to be written in haste Here are the only redeeming factors to this story Chad knows he has a son and Chad moves on That s it In her acknowledgement Howarth states that she wasn t entirely ready to let Chad go hence the novella Ironically the theme of Through His Eyes is let them go Enough said Thankfully this was short and then it was over English Loved itI don t usually bother to write full reviews but this one is worthy The whole series is excellent but this book. Through his eyes by 4him it s the missing piece Chad annoyed me at times but he always seemed like a teen just getting his act together Chad in this book was perfect Be prepared to bawl your eyes out I had years in my eyes from start to finish English Through His Eyes gives us a chance to find out about what happened between Resistance and Defective through the eyes of Chad Not being a Chad fan myself I was surprised to find myself enjoying finding out not only the events that happened between the two books but also the true thoughts and feelings of Chad himself and how hard he is finding it to let go of the people namely Allira he has left behind And by the end he had also found a little soft spot in my heart If you were sad that the Institute series was over and can t wait for Howarths next series I seriously recommend reading Through His Eyes English I had a hard time when Chad died I loved Chad and I totally missed him in the third book of The Institute series I almost felt like his death derailed the series and I wasn t sure where Allira s story would go without her love interest After reading the third book I totally got it but Through His Eyes brought Chad s story to a satisfying end As a novella I thought the author did a great job of making the story interesting with some new information that filled in the gap between books two and three It was the perfect length and fans of the series especially those who loved Chad will enjoy this little book I m definitely a fan of Kayla Howarth and I m looking forward to her new Litmus Series English Interesting This novella could describe very accurately the way I feel when I m trying to make someone understand something Work play in general life Explained from the point of view of a dead guy Food for thought to be sure Thanks Kayla English I loved The Institute Series LOVED it. Through his eyes shukr Even though I still mourned Chad s untimely demise the thought of him telling the missing year in Allira s life filling in many of the many blanks that came up between the second and third books in the series was too tantalizing to pass up Kayla Howarth puts a clever spin on the first person omniscient POV with this tale as he flits from scene to scene unable to leave the people he loved and lost not realizing that his inability to let go has consequences in itself Not only do his observations provide us with information we were previously missing but it breaks our hearts all over again DAMN YOU KAYLA This is a worthy addendum to the incredible Institute series Thanks to the author for letting us set foot in this world once again English Anxiously awaiting the release of Author Kayla Howarth s next series I was surprised when Through His Eyes was offered to me for beta reading Not fully wanting to let The Institute series go I jumped at the chance to read this manuscript Through His Eyes is Chad s reminiscence of the events that bridge the time difference between Resistance and Defective If you re like me hungry for of The Institute Series or just simply curious as to what occurred during the timeframe between the last two books you ll love Through His Eyes It s another well written story from Howarth and answers any lingering questions you may have after reading Defective I do recommend reading this last in order to not spoil the suspense that was so carefully constructed in Defective Very well done Howarth I m looking forward to your future series Kimberly Readnour author of Visions The Mystical Encounter Series English You know those series where you just get so immersed that when it s over all you want to do is dive back in The Institute was like that for me so when I got the chance to read a novella that let me hang out with those characters again I jumped at it And it was sooooooo good We re in Chad s mind here weird right He s just the muscle head who Allira falls in love with that none of us think is as good as Drew or Jayce Until now I fell in love with Chad as he watched the woman he loved move on with her life I cried for him as he witnessed her falling apart My heart broke when he saw the son he would never know Lord knows this story should have been weird I should have be saying What the heck after every chapter The idea is a little strange a little paranormal than the series but it worked brilliantly My only regret was that it wasn t longer Now that I like Chad I want of him but I can t have it Just a little warning when you feel the rivers running from your eyes don t worry it s only Chad s words breaking your heart and then putting it back together with a perfect ending English Not very often a book hits me right in the feels I am a very tough nut to crack But this book.
