Life can be as slippery as brown motor oil on melting ice when making decisions that can change our lives forever Do you remember any decisions like that Perhaps it was the day you didn t buckle your seat belt because you were just going down to the corner fast food restaurant Maybe it was when you replied to a text while you were driving and your eyes danced back and forth from the road to your phone Did your life change that cold rainy night while you were driving and a fast approaching traffic light turned yellow You pulled the trigger and punched the gas pedal in your car which made you feel like a bullet rifling down a gun barrel to speed through the light not seeing the other car pulling out of the gas station All of the above scenarios involve making decisions In many cases.
#heading[2]We also find ourselves every day making split second decisions These snap decisions are made as fast as a tripped mousetrap and can have the biggest impact on our lives in either a positive or a negative way Important decisions can be good or bad and run hot and cold like a hot water tank after a 10 minute shower I also acknowledge that we live in a cold random universe in which each one of us lives in a sea of variables Taking away this randomness brings us back to the endless decisions we make that can change our lives forever That happened numerous times at an old hotel in South Florida The Palm Tree Inn is a beautiful and charming hotel that was built in 1923 Recently there have been several unexplained disappearances of some of the hotel s guests What caused these people to vanish without a trace like in some magic act with a big gray puff of smoke Where did they go How did their families cope with these painful circumstances All that it takes to start the chain reaction or domino effect in the story is making a wrong snap decision.
#heading[3]Has enough mystery and suspense to keep you turning the pages The twists and turns in the book will make you think beyond the strong boundaries entrenched in our minds which can be like rusty steel fencing around an old graveyard Everyone enjoys a little mystery in life so put your reality on the back burner for a few hours and let your imagination be captivated while you take an unpredictable journey into the unknown You will be laughing in one chapter and crying in the next The guests at the Palm Tree Inn who made the wrong decision of stepping onto floor 6R know what day their life changed forever Floor 6RNot a bad read It was fast with a fascinating plot I felt it read like fact reading.
#heading[4]We have time to ponder over what decisions we will make however a hotel elevator a spooky hotel floor that hasn t been used for years and an old dark exit stairway that leads to than the outside A teenager and her younger sister uncover clues that tie everything together preventing the needless loss of life at the hotel Their actions are amusing unforeseeable and even change the course of history The intriguing story with its compelling characters which isn t a bad thing just different It s like the Eminem song Guilty Conscience starts off reading facts about a person then the song starts In this case it starts off reading facts about a person then would jump into the story It s not bad at all just a very different style than how most books are written In some ways it s nice because it kind of gets to the point My only complaint was some of the grammar errors Now there weren t a lot and are nit picky mostly but they spelled Barack Obama s name wrong It was spelled Barak when Kora was explaining future events to Daniel English AWESOME READThis novel is intriguing and original Actual photos are interspersed in the story that gives the book the illusion of being non fiction The reader will think often of this story long after the last page is finished Enjoy English I loved the book The author writes with a very unusual cadence which takes some time to grow used to But once you get into the rhythm of the book it is an easy fun read So many pieces and the author wove them all together craftily Great story fun to read English Review of Floor 6RSet in a fancy and historic hotel on Palm Beach Island FL in a wealthy area this paranormal thriller has an exciting premise and weaves in science fiction topics as well as paranormal elements The historic Palm Beach Inn once hosted the very wealthy who enjoyed an island paradise and catering to their whims However a drastic fire in February 1927 some 2 and a half years before the stock market crash resulted in many fatalities followed eventually by some incomplete remodeling Many decades later several visitors to the hotel at different times discover that the elevator has additional buttons to the regular 6 1R 2R 3R 4R 5R and 6R Also the elevator incomprehensibly has a back door A few of these visitors specifically a young newlywed an adolescent and later two younger sisters find and use the back door which leads to Floor 6R an unusued area not remodeled after the fire Floor 6R is not only haunted it also leads to a bridge to an earlier time for those who will serve an altruistic purpose in changing the course of the Hotel s history and future English
