X-o manowar deluxe edition book 3 epub download Venditti lives in Atlanta when Valiant does something right they really do it right This HC collects the prelude issues to their big Armor Hunters crossover event which is fun all by itself It also collects the issuesntonth3 actual event and the XO issues that crossover with it AND they re collected in proper reading order which is always a blessing The XO issues that tie into the event are flashback issues that show how the Armor Hunters came together and are both entertaining and heart rending A side note if you have the Armor Hunters deluxe edition then this book can be skipped all of the issues are collected in the AH deluxe along with the Unity and Bloodshot issues that tie into the event Sad to hear that Valiant is now no longer planning on doing of these big crossover style events because between this and Harbinger Wars they ve done a bang up job Comics Graphic Novels Very good I hesitated to read this since I m a Matt Kindt XO fan I m very glad I did Venditti has his own story to tell and he tells it well Comics Graphic Novels X O Manowar continues to thrill entertain and surprise me And finally in Book 3 we get the origin of Aric s alter ego name Pretty cool little moment Once again Venditti cleverly avoids the standard good vs evil conflict We are introduced to the Armour Hunters a group of mercenary bounty hunters who are clearly Hunting Aric s armour But why To what end It s not as simple as it seems Venditti does a great job of making the reader care about almost every character he writes and it takes him very little time to achieve that An impressive skill Onto Book 4 Comics Graphic Novels 1 2This volume features the whole Armor Hunters storyline minus the side stories with Harbinger Unity and Bloodshot It only includes the Armor Hunters miniseries and the X O Manowar crossover issues I really enjoyed the event and read and reviewed it in it s entirety here But this is all the best material without the side stories so I suspect it s an even tighter read so I ll give it 4 and a half stars Comics Graphic Novels
