This was an okay short story Not much romance but Elizabeth and Darcy are already married and clearly they re happy together I liked the irony of Lydia being so indignant that her daughter Sophie was being accused and insisting that Lydia would never tolerate that kind of behavior from Sophie when at the same time Lydia is steadily stealing money from the Darcys I was mostly uncomfortable with the ending where the thief of the shepherdess figurine is never required to own up to having taken it It doesn t feel like an appropriate conclusion especially when everyone involved knows the person who confesses is not guilty Kindle Edition
