Superman/Wonder Woman #24 By Peter J. Tomasi
Superman/Wonder Woman #24 By Peter J. Tomasi Kindle Edition Comics Superman/Wonder Woman #24 It’s the team up you never expected, as Superman and Parasite take on those other energy suckers, the Pale Riders, to free Firestorm! Meanwhile, Wonder Woman fights an unstoppable behemoth that can contain and consume her powers!
Superman and Wonder Woman have tracked down the culprit who s been stealing Superman s powers but not before he could trap Wonder Woman in a suit that siphons off her powers This was a solid issue filled with an action oriented conclusion to this part of the arc Superman is forced to rise to the occasion and take down the villain Bend despite the fact that his powers are so depleted This series has maintained his character most faithfully through this storyline but I feel he did some questionable things in this issue I like to think Superman is above lying to people to achieve his own ends but perhaps desperate times make for desperate measures Most intriguing is the idea that there were really a few different but related literally villains behind this entire plot Of course in the end they seemed to have their own motivations and intentions to screw everyone else over No honor among thieves right As all of this wraps up in the Superman Annual I hope for some greater explanation behind it all So far its been a lot to go through for what seems to be a somewhat unsatisfying conclusion. Still like the idea of this book and its examination of the relationship between the two characters Hope for better after this arc concludes 24
