Who or what is Blanque What is being held in this Superman s Fortress of Solitude And what is Intergang and why is their discovery dangerous to Lois Whatever the answers neither Clark nor Lois want their son to learn the truth Superman Lois and Clark 2015 2016 3Early in his time on this Earth Clark encounters Blanque a truly evil telepath and telekinetic who revels in wanton destruction and death Even though Clark has never encountered anyone this evil he just can t kill him But a standard prison can t hold him so what solution is appropriate And will Blanque have his ultimate revenge Things get REAL this issue Blanque is a terrible and terrific villain in this issue He is scary terrifying and just as evil as can possibly be And his power set really make him a worthy opponent of a Superman But the best part is that moral dilemma that Clark faces when he realizes this guy can t be contained but Clark just can t kill him either These are the elements that really speak in a Superman story This story dovetails somewhat with the mysterious shuttle from previous issues but we don t get all the answers hereyet Lois and Jon and their stories are kind of sidelined a bit this issue but that s okay because the Blanque story is very compelling I m sure we ll see of them next issue. Superman vintage comics Dan Jurgens was the penciller of the 1990 1991 limited series Armageddon 2001 and co created the hero Waverider with Archie Goodwin In 1991 Jurgens assumed the writing pencilling of the main Superman comic book where he created a supporting hero named Agent Liberty During his run on Superman Dan created two major villains Doomsday and the Cyborg Doomsday was the main antagonist in the Death of Superman storyline Jurgens wrote and drew Justice League America for about one year and in 1993 pencilled the Metal Men four issue miniseries which was a retcon of their origin story Jurgens wrote and pencilled the 1994 comic book miniseries and crossover Zero Hour He wrote and penciled layouts with finished art by Brett Breeding to the Superman Doomsday Hunter Prey miniseries which was a follow up to the successful Death of Superman storyline In 1995 Jurgens and Italian artist Claudio Castellini worked on the highly publicized crossover Marvel vs DC In the same year he gave up the pencilling duties on Superman.
