The iceman cometh pdf What both of these stories tap into is the fact that Bobby youngest of the original X Men was always the least serious and often the most hopeful What I found particularly interesting in the first story was that Bobby s parents are supportive and loving despite knowing the prejudice associated with mutants It makes for an uncommon dynamic among the X Men who often than not joined the found family due to not having a good relationship with their relatives and explains where Iceman s hope optimism and moral compass originate. Iceman x-men In Operation Zero Tolerance we see mutant phobia taken to such an extreme that the US Government and others around the world support the extermination of the mutants using Sentinel Primes What I particularly liked about this story was seeing Senator Kelly a vocal opponent of mutant rights coming to the realisation that in getting what he wanted he s opened the door to tactics worthy of the Nazis There s something very poignant about having him be the one to try to put a stop to the genocide As for the title character it was nice to see Bobby taking an unfamiliar role as a leader in the absence of senior X Men but it was a bit disappointing so see that team be made up of absolute C list characters More reviews here Iceman Marvel s Mightiest Heroes 21 This review may contain spoilers. Icemanisaac It was really good to see Bobby s origin story I liked the fact that although his parents had difficulty understanding his abilities they still made it clear that they loved him even though they told him that he had to hide who he was I felt a lot of sympathy for him when he tried to protect his girlfriend and she reacted as if he was a freak. Ice manufacturing It was very interesting to see Bobby have to take on the mantle of leadership though I thought it was good he managed to keep his jokey nature even while faced with certain doom The Sentinels were especially creepy I think because they couldn t be reasoned with and they couldn t see that they were causing collateral damage They were a broken solution to a problem that didn t actually exist. Icemann development I found Marrow a really intriguing character even though I knew next to nothing about her I wasn t sure if she was truly on the others side or not but then again it was clear that Cecilia didn t really want to be a part of the group either While I could understand her reluctance I felt she did take it out on Bobby a lot who was trying his best By the time Sabra came along it seemed like Bobby was spending most of his time trying to stop his team from maiming each other. EPub iceman 3d On the other side it was interesting to see Kelly suffering from remorse While I think it should have hit him much earlier I did like the fact that he eventually did the right thing even though it would have been good to see if Bobby had managed to get through to Bastion I would have liked to know about Bastion s past and what drove him. Iceman cometh There were quite a few moments I found myself laughing out loud while I was reading this There were some good elements of humour to go along with the tension And I would be interested in reading about Bobby in the future and learning about his personality history present and future Iceman Marvel s Mightiest Heroes 21 Quite boring and lacklustre For an X Men comic it didn t pop Maybe I find Iceman a bit one dimensional and the story in here tried to develop him but it wasn t believe He just came off as cocky Typical origin story was included Quite dated The updated version was slightly better but not fantastic Him being the leader for a moment was a huge flop IMO Iceman Marvel s Mightiest Heroes 21
