Lacks any documented date or dates other than WW2 Jeffrey Jeschke Wow this was truly awful and not in a good way as in torture is awful and it was terrible reading about it It was shockingly bad quality It often stated the obvious for example medieval torture was barbaric yes isn t all torture like that that being the point of it It was trying to be a guide to torture and it could have been interesting reading about the different types like a how to guide just read through and pick out your favourites to try on your least favourite people However most of the graphics were laughable like someone from the 90s who s just found clip art on their computer It s a shame I can t show you pictures here some are then like a 5 year olds drawing and I m not exaggerating for effect here The writing is pretty poor too incredibly basic language skills. Medieval torture devices museum Overall although the different types of torture was interesting they weren t explained very well I knew about some of them already and thought I could do a better job of describing them The poor quality of writing and images made me feel like I was reading a child s homework project not an especially bright child at that 1 5 the 1 is for the research the author had to carry out to find out about the various tortures but it was so appallingly executed excuse the pun I struggled to continue thankfully it was an incredibly short book and also free This book is an embarrassment to whoever wrote it Jeffrey Jeschke What a joke This is like some kid wrote a report on medieval torture for class This book is POD is only 41 pages needs editing and had terrible clipart for illustrations And one entire section was missing The heading is there with some goofy clipart but no text Jeffrey Jeschke This was an informative book it was quite brief in content but what it did contain was excellent and really quite detailed The only thing for me that let it down was the drawings it could have done with pictures of the torture implements if possible but it may be that it would be too gruesome for this kind of book Jeffrey Jeschke Great bookI liked this book just wished it were longer It would also have been a little better if they were able to obtain pictures Jeffrey Jeschke
