A lot better then the first Volume Whereas the first Volume tried to focus too much on emphasis on action this volume placed a lot emphasis on adventure We get flashbacks that allow us to see why the protagonists are searching for the wisdoms as well as finally meeting the antagonist group and seeing what drives them to want to collect the wisdoms I m not a big fan of flashbacks and back stories however the flashbacks in this volume were very smoothly done and transitioned from the present to the past effortlessly while still holding my interest As stated before the action is pulled back a lot in this volume to focus on the adventure as a whole however what fighting scenes did remain in this volume were far better then the first volume Kindle Edition
