Not what I expectedWhen I saw the description of this book I wasn t into some of the things that were used to describe the book She asked me for an honest review so I have to tell you that I enjoyed it. Love and Whiskers kindle cloud Kalinda is a shapeshifter that would normally make me pass it but honestly I really enjoyed the story She would transform into a cat Then spy on her classmates from a tree That s the way that she saw Amber and Mary being intimate She was looking for a female lover and after seeing them wanted Amber to be her first female lover Kalinda was excited to have found someone that she could be herself with She and Amber became than lovers They were friends she was comfortable telling her her secrets I also learned that every relationship has problems If you really love your mate you can overcome anything that may happen. Book love and whiskers characters The ebook is really a collection of shorts but it is described as the main story as a Lesbian romance Love and Whiskers with bonus 20 books which in reality are erotic short stories Love and Whiskers is a lesbian paranormal romance in which the protagonist Kalinda is a house cat shapeshifter IMO the only reason she a shapeshifter is so the author could have her be a peeping Tom cat There is no chemistry between the two characters who fall into bed and love instantaneously I didn t read all the other stories but as far as I can tell the majority are HET romances a mix of fantasy paranormal shapeshifters and at least one involving a vampire and sci fi robots and aliens with huge ummm parts I think her sci fi stories that I read are slightly better than her paranormal because she does do world building I did like one story In the arms of the Dragon a het office romance between a boss dragon shapeshifter and his human assistant Cassandra They had chemistry and better character development though again the shapeshifter aspect was almost inconsequential other than a powerful personality and he didn t need a helicopter Another story with better world building is Biomechanical Hearts about a woman Stella who is a dealer of pleasure robots There are some details of the story that don t make sense but I liked Stella Again I didn t read all the stories and I skimmed some so I can t give a detailed review but I do feel in this case quantity didn t help quality The good news is that this was a unlimited book Kindle Edition An Interesting Assortment of ReadsThis bundle had an mixed bag of stories that most will find several that they like There are romances of all kinds shifters and sci fi and paranormal stories and most are hot Enjoy I did Kindle Edition This is a short story about a college student at an all female university named Kalinda who happens to be a cat shifter She shifts into tiny 6 pound cat who is white and fluffy with a striped tail and light blue eyes I m quoting this detailing because as you can see the cat on the cover is clearly black with green eyes It may be a small thing but lack of attention to details like that hit me like chalk squeaking on a chalkboard Also as much as I love cats it seems like an awfully small animal for a human to shift into I just can t imagine where all the bones and stuff would fit. Book love and whiskers author Anyway Kalinda is gay but not out of the closet yet I thought that was cute because we all know kitties like to hide in closets By chance while prowling as a cat one night she spots a beautiful girl named Amber who is having a sexual encounter with another girl Kalinda wants her and traces her down to her job at the campus library She says to her I am making big assumptions here so I apologize if I offend you but I find you attractive and I wanted to ask you out This is just the first of several conversations which to me seem rather stilted Real people don t talk like that do they I ve been out of the dating scene for awhile but it just sounded strange to me. Love and Whiskers kindle Amber needs to be secretive because she is on a scholarship which is why she works in the campus library it s part of her scholarship agreement and she s afraid that if the Trustees find out she s gay she will loose her scholarship and get kicked out of college While I can understand and sympathize with Amber s concern I can t help but wonder how she can afford to live in a roomy off campus apartment all by herself with a queen sized bed when she s so strapped for cash Kalinda on the other hand whose parents have boatloads of money lives in a tiny dorm room with a twin bed. Kindle love and whiskers book series This story had way too many inconsistencies and or unbelievable parts to make it really enjoyable for me The intimate scenes were very detailed and interesting but aside from that there wasn t much to the story Yes it is a short story but it just seemed to need a bit in the way of plot. Love whisper gfriend lyrics The good news is this book comes with an additional 26 free short stories I have not read those yet and but based on the added value I m giving this book 3 stars instead of 2 If I find the additional stories to be worthwhile I may adjust my rating accordingly in the future This book was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review of the story Love and Whiskers alone Kindle Edition
