Book quan & scarlett pdf I love all of ady Lissa books just wasn t feeling this one Sorry Kindle Edition I m not sure what happened I have read other books by this author and thoroughly enjoyed them I don t know what went wrong with this story but I just couldn t seem to connect with these characters I found Tyrik s reaction and logic after his mother died to be disingenuous and over the top I know grief can make you illogical but there seemed to be than just that he was battling with I wasn t looking for insta love between Scarlett and Quan but her judgemental bougie attitude was just too much for me to take Tyrik s reaction to hearing from Eliza about the birth of his son was extremely disappointing and in my opinion made him less of a man I didn t hate this book but it just seemed to drag causing it to be tedious to complete This wont stop me from reading this authors work in the future but I just didn t develop enough of a vested interest in this story to continue with this series This story may work for others but unfortunately it just wasn t my cup of tea Kindle Edition I enjoyed this read but as soon as it started to pick up it was over I hope part 2 is better Kindle Edition
