Work of art the collectiony review With The Collection author Ruth Clampett has given us some of Max s POV Loved it I laughed and smiled with how passionate and possessive Max is there s no doubt Ava is the love of his life and that they are true soulmates. Work of art the collectionz catalog I received advance copy in exchange for my honest thoughts English I have had this book for quite some time now and finally got the chance to read it It took me awhile to start reading it because I knew in order to fully appreciate the story I would need to devote a large amount of time to it Because this book is a trilogy The inspiration The unveiling and The masterpiece combined in one book and I was reading a few other books in between it took me about 4 months to finish That definitely does not mean it was hard to get through It simply means that like we all do I was dealing with daily life tasks that didn t always allow me my reading time After finally finishing the book I can say it truly was an immersive experience. How to use collections on kindle Max is a well known artist while Ava is working diligently to make a name for herself in the art world They meet while Ava is on an assignment and the attraction is immediate Ava is given an amazing opportunity when she is asked to put together an art book about Max Naturally they end up spending a great deal of time together and their relationship begins to grow even stronger As Ava and Max begin to get deeper into their relationship Ava learns there is to Max than just being an extremely passionate artist Throughout each book in the trilogy they go through many ups and downs in their relationship and while reading them all I can honestly say I felt every moment of their emotions There were many sweet moments that made me smile but of course with the good we have to take the bad During the dark moments I found myself getting angry with Max and even occasionally with Ava when they would fight I also did really root for them throughout because I wanted them to be happy I won t give any spoilers on how the book ends because I want you to be just as invested in these people as I was without already knowing the outcome. Ebook work of art the collection free At the end of the third book there is a part four which is a few excerpts of the story from Max s point of view The excerpts are from books 1 2 and 3 and have titles and explanations in regards to which chapter Max s POV came from I really enjoyed getting to read from Max s point of view but I just wish that they had been placed in their respective places in the 3 books instead of at the end I think it would have been a nice twist to have those few moments pop in nonetheless it was still fascinating to be in his mind. Ebook work of art the collections While this was a long read I enjoyed it immensely and the way Ruth describes everything is so vivid you can truly picture it in your mind If you are a lover of art and romance I highly recommend reading this book English Ruth Clampett has the loveliest way with words I enjoy her work so much This collection is no exception and we get to hear of Max and his father Max and Ava are one of the most captivating couples I have ever read and the secondary characters are excellent too English Ruth Clampett What a GIFT Work of Art The Inspiration the first story in this trilogy features an eccentric painter Maxwell Caswell who captures the heart of Ava Jacobs They meet at an art show in New York She is there to help her boss and friend Adam her first big break after spending several years in his print shop Max storms in having a typical Max tantrum and whisks Ava away from the show needing to escape the pressure of sales that crush his artistic spirit and bring out his dark side They have an instant attraction that sparks and swirls at the first kiss of their hands like Van Gogh s Starry Night The trilogy takes us from this moment through their friendship to Santa Fe and to working with eachother on a book and eventually to Paris where a new chapter of their lives is born I loved the Work of Art Trilogy as it was but to have the collection with the added 4th installment is just that A gift A girt of seeing a glimpse of the male point of view through both Max and his father Cas in outtakes taken from all three of the books We also get to see MAx in Therapy with Cara which also provides insight to what makes him tick The first three books are in Ava s the female lead s POV and these books appeal to women and most of us don t understand the male mind filling us with questions than answers so to have some of those questions answered gives the Work of Art experience an extra gloss making it that much brighter Max s mind is and perception is so unique I love having descriptions to illustrate how his mind works How he sees the world around him and interprets it through the way he loves and the way he creates his art Favorite Max POV quotes ll the colors that surround us glow brighter almost psychedelic. Work of Art The Collection by Ruth Clampett was originally published in 2014 2015 as a trilogy The Inspiration The Unveiling and The Masterpiece The trilogy has been bundled into one long book PLUS bonus scenes from different POVs and add ons The best part is that you don t have to chew your nails over the cliff hangers of books one and two because the final book of the series is published and included in this new offering. Work of art the collectiony museum Ruth Clampett s writing in Work of Art is incredibly detailed and descriptive Right away my senses were on overload The characters are well developed and I felt like I personally knew all the characters Ms Clampett provides readers with great details about the art world both from the artist s perspective as well as from gallery owners and other business end groups I loved all the references to classic art pieces and the quotes at the start of each chapter were fabulous The behind the scenes view of the crazy political art business was fascinating. Work of art the collectionx book Ava is the narrator of Work of Art She is my kind of girl she loves art and literature When life turned sour on her she moved cross country and with the help of classmate Brian she made lemonade out of her lemons She got a new family an education and she has a budding career at a LA art gallery Ava s youth and inexperience makes her a naive when it comes to men and their intentions Will she be able to handle the edgy dark side of her eventual fame Max Caswell is a tormented and troubled artist who has found his muse in Ava Jacobs He is an extremist he is at times dark and brooding and at other times he is charming and seemingly light hearted He struggles with some mental health challenges that are exacerbated by a rough past These issues hinder his personal life as well as his career Juxtapose to his inner demons is Max s light hearted handsome party boy celebrity persona to which women flock. Book work of art the collections The secondary characters are incredible They are all richly developed I loved Jess the lesbian artist best friend to both Ava and Max Dylan Max s agent is a dichotomy Sometimes he seems to have Max s best interest at heart and at other times he seems to sabotage Ava and Max at every turn Speaking of sabotage the string of men who are helping Ava with her career and secretly hoping to help her into bed is amazing They re characters you love to hate even though they re sort of caricatures. Work of art the collection book 1 Nobody does it better than Ruth English Wort of Art The Collection was a great romance to read I would honestly rate this collection as a 3 but because of the depth the writer took to give us a true an true story where we got to live the day to day life with all of the characters and for the addition of the epilogue and the male POV s at the end of the book I rated it 3. Contemporary work of art the collection by famous artists 5 stars I quite enjoyed how she let the story grow and did not make it so steadfast but having said all of this I found the story to be annoyingly long and found myself skipping through parts I love a good romance story but Max was a little too depressingly clingy for me and Ava was just a little too naive for me I have sat on this review for a few days because it s been difficult to figure out if I liked the book or not as a whole I have come to the conclusion that I did half way enjoy it but I love strong men and I love strong women These two characters were neither Their relationship and relationships with others were very melodramatic obsessive and at times just annoying Ava is a dick tease but at the same time she doesn t want to be fucked she wants flowers and a bed There are so many parts of this collection that I loved and hated. Work of art the collection pdf free Even though I skipped through some chapters that felt repetitive or could ve honestly been left out I don t feel as though I missed anything by doing so The twists and turns that we get throughout this collection i quite thoroughly enjoyed and never saw coming but the turn out was always the same I feel like this book could ve been so much had Max not been such a crazy dramatic almost teenager of a man. Work of art the collection contemporary pdf and had Ava just straight up left his ass I felt like I was reading a high school romance and not a romance about two adults in the business world I almost felt like Max was in for committing suicide with all of his breakdowns that he had and just because of how his character was portrayed from the get go However the ending was just what I needed These two characters finally come together unite and learn how to live with the quirkiness of each other The epilogue was splendid and the extra scenes that we got at the end were a delight I loved being able to get into Max s head along with his Fathers and I felt quite complete after receiving those little tid bits I loved that this collection was about an artist and how we got to delve into the various techniques showings and etc It is not very often that we get to read a romance of a couple that isn t some alpha business man and because of this I stuck with this book until the end.
